Team Andrax Welcomes 2 New Mates

Catherine Ryan of The Fountain Pen, a wonderful blog with a beautiful design has join Team Andrax as mate #96. Catherine is an East coast 40-something, happily married, mother of two, suburbanite professional with eclectic interests and a liberal bias. Catherine, welcome aboard and thanks so much for joining us in the fight against this terrible disease.

Croxie, aka Christa, has joined Team Andrax as mate #97. Originally from Sweden, Christa calls the UK home for now and does wonderful work with the paintbrush and camera. Please visit Awful Souls to see more of her writings and links to more of her work. Christa is also a cancer survivor, and although she has survived her fight of 10 years ago, still battles lingering issues and side effects with great courage. She is a living testament to the merciless nature of the disease we are fighting. Christa, you have found a home of caring and compassion souls. Welcome aboard!

Too bad to hear another lost battle against the worst enemy of all time. Peter Jennings passed away at the age of 67.
His friendly face will be remembered for a long time... Rest in Peace.

venturous, I hadn't heard that news so thanks for sharing. I can relate to age 67. My dad was 67 last November when he passed away. He had cancer of the stomach. Without that cancer he would be with us today and perhaps would have had several more years. Seven more years would have enabled him to see his first grandchild graduate from High School.

For everyone who has joined us in this effort and the many, many other ways folks are making a contribution to this fight, I applaud you.

Christa and Catherine,

Very glad to have you with us. Together we shall put a dent in the pile of Work Units waiting to be crunched. Welcome to the team!
