Dear members,

Thanks for being so patient. Below is a current update on grid.org:

A new LigandFit Pancreatic Cancer job is still pending new data from our European partner. In the meantime, the grid.org team will be performing some LigandFit post-processing script improvements on our LigandFit grid infrastructure in order to prepare for the new Cancer project data soon to arrive from our European partner. As a result, the old LigandFit Cancer job that is currently running will be suspended briefly in order for our team to make the necessary preparations offline.

The Rosetta Human Proteome Folding batches of jobs on grid.org continue to run well, and results are being post-processed nicely. Thanks for contributing your compute time.

Kindest Regards,
grid.org team

Post subject: grid.org official communication 8/05/2005 (re: Team Stats)
Dear members,

We forgot to mention that we continue to work diligently at repairing the Team Stats figures. The problem appears to be related to a corrupted table, which just so happens to host the team statistics; the data is ok - it's just the table that seems to be problematic. To fix, we are going through a process of 1) exporting all team stats data from the corrupted table, 2) recreating a new team stats table, 3) importing team stats data back into new table.

The explanation above sounds rather simplistic, but it's very intensive due to the enormity of the data contained in this table. Just the exercise of moving the data around via the export/import is very time consuming - so we beg for your continued patience. Thank you very much.

Kindest regards,
grid.org team

Thanks for your

Post subject: What this means is that for the time being there is no new data being sent out for the Cancer project. Data which is running will still be accepted back by the servers, but no new work for that project will be sent out untilthey have the new data.

If a profile is set to just cancer, it will back off and then retryonce an hour until it finds work available.

If a profile is set to both projects, it will just get HPF work onall connections rather than a random selection of connections

---------

So, just check *both* projects in your device profiles until the new cancer units arrive.
