Wish I had known, I would have found a way to get out of my shift. ;) Looking forward to hearing this tomorrow upon my return. XOXO

Just a short piece, a bit over dramatic, as first readings can be. Yet, still, it captures the moment. A second reading, and I almost did one, would, I think, have quite a different arrangement. :-)

I always enjoy hearing you read a chapter. The meaning somehow changes, becomes more sensual, more meaningful to have you read it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this chapter to "us".

An invitation meant I had to wait still further, and couldn't help but smile as in the company of friends and family, I was just waiting to get home so that I could get online and come here.

Rather than describe your reading as dramatic, it was deliciously theatrical, read as one might a poem or a scene from a play, on stage before dimmed lighting and a hushed audience. Hushed not just in anticipation knowing the beauty of the words, but hushed in the way one is, when listening but with response. It was suprising, quite different from how it sounded as I read it, which I loved, the surprise, the difference, the drama in your words. There was one part within, which I did not think I would forget what the words were, something along the lines of a 'what was' half sentence where the sound of your voice, the way in which you spoke these words were soft and conversational and everyday, I had an instant visual of coffee, of conversation, not of audience, not of microphones, just talking, felt sort of fly on the wall but in my imagination - anyway, my point is, you have warm, pleasing tones.
