Serenity
Swimming with the fishes and sea turtles deep below the surface I find a joy and peace undisturbed by the constantly changing weather above the choppy sea. Come swim with me in the sea of equanimity.

You know Tree, when I was in a famous artist's gallery in Hawaii last May, I saw a painting of the ocean which cost a pretty penny. Your art surpasses anything I saw in that gallery - you even put faces on the fishes! Incredible piece - I love it.
Terry if you were trying to make me smile you succeeded with a few smiles left over for tomorrow. Thank you very much for those incredibly kind words. I need to take my jacket off since my heart is producing all the warmth I need right now. :-)
Who would have known simple words could have such power.
Tree, I like Serenity -- so well named. A few days ago I read the quotes on the side of your posts. The quote from Emerson caught my attention. I haven't read him in years so today I checked out a book from the local library. Thanks for the quotes and the inspiration.
I was inspired by your swim with dolphins pic. Been waiting here for hours for you to stop by and soak in the atmosphere. So are you on the librarian's black list yet?
No worries. A was passing out plenty of popcorn and cokes. And that reminds me, she still hasn't answered the question has she. Why that little . . . lol.
Plenty of sunshine here today and a day with sunshine is always a good day. :-)
Ahhhh...serenity by the bucketful. That's just what the doctor ordered. Peaceful.
It has been years since I've been fully immersed in water. Your fractal reminds me of the peace of being in that undersea world, ebbing and flowing with the waves.
There is a post dwelling inside of me about this very thing. I can't get the words together just yet. Thanks for reminding me.
I'm off to bed now. You kids play nice and sleep well.
Aggie, the pints are on me tonight. Do you need another nite cap? Let me fluff your pillow hon and put a chocolate on the night stand. Anything else I can do babe?
You're welcome Beard. The feeling I have when underwater is perhaps one of the most peaceful experiences I know. I'm almost tempted to go buy me an aquarium again just so I can have the soothing sounds of the underground filter bubbling in my ear.
I took the family to St George Island this summer for vacation. Sitting on the beach or standing in the water I noticed something interesting. There are no unhappy people on a beach. Next time you go look around. Water is a powerful thing.
The other thing I noticed is everyone, and I mean everyone, looks better in sunglasses. lol
Good to see you stop by again and I hope all my images aren't killing you on dail-up. I just reduced the number on my page from 30 to 20 and eliminated a couple of other things to ease the burden. Still, I know these images are not dail-up friendly, so I do appreciate you making the effort to visit.
Beard, that must have been an interesting experience to see the text first and wonder what the image could be. I wish I knew what that was like since for me I produce the image and then let it tell me what to write. The view is always different coming from the opposite way.
Actually it does not take too long. But thanks for speeding it up even more.
I enjoyed the beach very much growing up but I do not seem to get there much anymore. Partially because I am farther away and partly because I have had several skin cancers removed and I want to stay out of the sun.
I have a 25 gallon aquarium with two Koi. They can be quite entertaining and the water sound that the filter makes is relaxing.

Paul, that is a wonderful thing to hear. I like Emerson and I'm glad you were inspired to pick him up and spend some time with his thoughts.
Serenity is one of my favorite words. Even the sound of it spoken brings a measure of peace to me.
It looks like a very ticklish feather to me :-)
Are you ticklish my dear?

Oh Trée, I love it! makes my little mermaid heart sing.

Training myself to be undisturbed is how I conquer blues...:) good one Tre!
Keshi.
Was that slumber party clothing optional? I was in and out so quick I forgot to look. Shame on me. lol
good night Agnes, sleep well!

Aggie, the pints are on me tonight. Do you need another nite cap? Let me fluff your pillow hon and put a chocolate on the night stand. Anything else I can do babe?
Sweet dreams.
Thanks Keshi. Keep looking in the mirror. I just know there are some wings there somewhere. :-)
That was amazing Tree.
I read the text first while the image was coming though my dial-up. What a great reflection of those words.
Thanks

Keshi.
Its a good thing, I remembered you leave the back door open - was knocking at the front one for ages!
Trée, this one is just so incredibly beautiful!!! Words escape me...
honestly.
"Was that slumber party clothing optional?..." You shouldn't have been in such a rush ;-)
This photo has trance-like qualities. One just keps looking at it, reading the words and dream...
Ohhhh. Tree tell me I can use this. Omg, inspiration strikes!
Dawn, you are more than welcome to use this image. Enjoy. :-)
Chicky, this might just be my most peaceful image to date. Just looking at it I feel my heartrate decrease and my breathing become slow and steady.
Fishes swimming at the bottom of the ocean, right? They are very serene creatures after all.
Well, I guess they could be alien fishes hatched from wayward pods that hit the water rather than land. ;-)
I see Peace Doves Tree :D
Peace doves--wonderful Dawn. I love that view. And I love that title. Thanks for sharing Dawn. :-)
Very.
:-)
