Blue Man: aka Karol Wojtyla posing as Jack Bennett

An excuse is worse and more terrible than a lie, for an excuse is a lie guarded.

Mmmm...peaceful. I'm drawn in. I see rhythm and light. I want to put my headphones on and sit in the middle of it, wrapped in the cool swaying swirls.

What on earth inspired you to add that quote though? I see only truth here.

Morning, hope you are having a nice weekend thus far (is it just me, or do they seem to be coming around quicker and quicker just recently :). Not really sure what to say about this fractal, its very nice which is the general standard here anyway ;-). It reminds me of one of those two-in-one images, where one can see different things depending on which part one focuses on. Like the blue.

Aggie, I see truth in the quote and I see the image speaking that truth. However, that's all a bunch of bs. I wanted a John Paul quote, and didn't really care for anything else I could find this morning so this quote won by default--now that's the truth. LOL

Well I did this one for Jack. I was under the mistaken impression his avvy was a photo of him. From the small icon image, this face has a very similar look to the face in Jack's photo. A couple days ago I was going to post this image as my image of Jack, a portrait if you will.

Well, before posting I decided I'd better take a closer look at Jack's photo just to make sure the image and the photo were close enough.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered Jack's image is not Jack at all but the picture of a young Fr Karol, later to be John Paul II. LMAO

So there you have it. Just having some fun. No deep meaning or significance beyound the story I just told. Does look kinda cool and I guess there is no reason I can't post images that are just kinda cool. :-)

Morning Sunshine. Morning Aggie. :-)

LOL Trée! A hearty "WELL DONE" then!
And good of you to offer up the embarrassing truth. All is right again with the world. ;)

I hope you have a wonderful day today.
I have hoards of nervous energy that I intend to take out on the house and the plants. Wish them luck.
Love to all of you!
Aggie

Aggie, nervous energy can be a tremendous force for good. Let the energy flow, no resistance, just let it flow into the light. Ride it baby, ride it for all it's worth. ;-)

Nice quote, Nice image. Whatever the motive.

Ride it! Trust that I'm riding like a crazy woman.
It's an interesting analogy to think that my father is the wave and I am a surfer. What an odd moment in time this is.

PS - give me one little comment on the blatant schmoozing of my friend's band. He's such a great guy. I'd hate to see his great blog-debut go un-commented. ;)
Thanks hon.

TC, thanks for the comments and I appreciate the kind words.

Aggie, done. :-)

You're a doll. Thanks hon.

The first time I happened to see Jack post a comment on your site, I was mesmerized by his avatar. It was kind of mysterious, to me anyway. So I looked at it, and that's when I discovered it was the pope, I've always respected and admired the Pope and all of his work. (Plus, he and I shared a birthday.)

Sherri, I always thought it was Jack until I clicked on it. Little did I know the pope looked really cool in his younger days. I was on the beach in Florida for my senior trip when I got the news he was shot many, many years ago. One of those, you remember exactly where you were when you heard stories.

Got my blue boxers on tonight, just so you know. :-)

Oh goody.... :)

Maybe I should take a peek, just to make sure you're not fibbing.

Trée said...

Well, I'm a big believer in fact checking. Shall I assume the position?

Trée said...

Sherri, just for the record, around these parts that would be Abso-f***ing-lutely!

LMAO, be gentle. :-)

Jack, brother, where are you? One more hour and I'm contacting MIB.

Tree, sorry its taken me so long. :) I wasn't online at all this Saturday. I love this picture. Looks nothing like me but it does kind of look like Fr.Karol's face (even with the sunglasses). Thank you so much! I kinda consider it an honor.

Sherri, I love the avatar because it is kinda mysterious as well. I originally used it as a salute to the late pope but the more I look at it in its little form the more I realize it could be almost anyone.

Trée said...

Jack, better late than never. Well, this image will always be you to me--LMAO.

Always entertaining to read your comments :-) Personally, I thought the picture resembled an alien as seen by Picasso...

BTW - I'm so happy to see that you linked to my blog. I feel like I have a new little community of friends and I'm very honored to be included in your site. (jumps up and down clapping hands with delight)

Terry, I'm glad you feel at home around here. You are always welcome and I think you'll find most everyone around here is very friendly. Keep posting those fabulous pics from Iceland. I've got a feeling it's one of those places I'll never get to.
