Oh Trace, now you have me blushing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for such wonderful words. I may play with and print an image to see what modifications I need to make to go from the screen to paper. It's hard to capture light the same way.
My slides look fantastic on the wall, but you always lose a little something in the translation to printed material.
I'll give it a go and see how one looks framed on my wall.
Thanks again for those wonderful words sweetie. :-)
Tree, This is like a gorgeous crystal, so one of a kind, so well lit. The gold and blue just the right amounts. This would be an award for generosity I think.
Thanks Liz. I think it would make an excellent award for generosity. In fact, I would like to present this one to you for the more than generous comments you have left for me Liz. Consider the Chalice di pietà yours. Take good care of it. :-)
Hey Jack, funny story. I've got a fractal I did that reminded me of you. I was going to post it as a portrait from a distance based on the image looking like the face in your avatar. Just to make sure, I click on your avvy to enlarge it, and, well, imagine my surprise when I discovered your pic wasn't exactly you. Now, if that's what you look like, let me know. I was going to call it Jack Bennett: Blue Man, in honor of your love of the Yankees and the fact that they lost.
A, material lighted from behind like we see here will never look the same on printed material. Now, with some work, the images can be made to look quite stunning on paper, but not quite the same. Light is special, and paper just doens't have it like a slide show or here on a monitor.
Thanks for your kind words. I've saved the best, IMHO, for last. Working on the render as we speak and hope to have it up later tonight. This one has been difficult because I've done a couple different versions and a couple different color schemes and I'm struggling to decide which I prefer. I'm leaning toward the "finger paint" version with light blues and yellows rather than the ornate version with deep golds and purples and burgendies. Oh, and this one comes with a little mini story from Tuesdays with Morrie rather than just a quote.
Tree, thanks for the thought, no my avatar is of the the young Pope John Paul II (in shades). I am a white male though so Karol W. and I have that much in common. I just posted a new fractal myself. I named it after you!
I realized that would be the case, but I thought they would turn out alot better than they did, which is what I meant.
Now you have me all curious again to see this next fractal - master of suspence - and I was going to go to bed (relatively) early for once. So the question becomes, what do I need more, beauty sleep or having my curiosity satisfied...:-)

I have yet to see one I don't like, and the quotes just pull them together so well. You are good Trée

These last two remind me of looking in a kaliedoscope. As always the colors are beautiful. Has a real liquid-y effect.

I'm amazed once again...
It is wonderful to feel compassion, not another feeling like it.
Karen, you can leave beautiful comments like that anytime on my blog. :-)
Have a great weekend!
(I tried printing out a few 'special ones', but the light and thereby quality in them fades.)
EW, powerful quote.

Jack, I'm on my way over. Wow, what a hook. If you want me to see your site just ask--lmao.

I don't see how sleep can improve upon the depths of your beauty so I say--STAY UP--lol. I should have it up in 30 to 45 minutes. :-)
Ah, that's exactly the statement, i was fishing for. ;-)
Will attempt to write a post whilst waiting in that case.
Title here-- Chalice of Compassion: Drink Deep. At least that's what it's suppose to say--lol.
