626. Lips Saying

Upon a letter she stood
taking breath from his lips
stealing heart from his eyes

Steps taken without looking
arms raised without thinking
floor raining
eyes floating

She looked up
He looked down
noses nestled
clothes breathless

Pain wrung
twisting
cleansing
dripping

arms growing
fingers branching
hair raked

two stars in orbit
drawing closer
spinning faster

Cheeks smiling
thumbs mapping
lips saying
all
that lips need to say

Good morning and Merry Christmas sweet man. I hope these past months have been good to you and that every day to follow this is better than the last.
Much love. Thanks, as always, for thinking of me. That moon still shines between us. :)
Love,
Aggie

I wish I could put a pot of curry under your tree :)

This is all like one fluid movement...which we all must have felt sometime or dream to feel!

Mona, I like that description, the flow, continuous movement, a dance where two move as one with effortless grace, in tune without the score, in sync without the script, the world slips away as the sun smiles and the moon blushes. If you can feel the power in that moment, you can feel everything. :-D

Still, I'd like that curry. :-)

Happy Boxing Day! :-D

Late, sorry, still very much appreciating how wonderfully befitting this post was to the occasion, :-), happiness pure, marvellous. And such a beautiful piece of writing Steps taken without looking, arms raised without thinking, the way you have written this is a brush stroke at a time, painting the scene in the minds eye in passionate, vibrant shades. hair raked and thumbs mapping, two of the most touching, vivid parts within, along with the part on pain being cleansed, looking up, looking down, Upon a letter she stood, arms growing, two stars in orbit, drawing closer, spinning faster, and at this stage I have about quoted it all, which is as should be, the entire piece, word for word, sentence for sentence, movement for movement, moment for moment, is perfectly enchanting. So overjoyed to see these kids back together again. :-)

Thank you Sunshine. You know, they say light is a wave, not a particle. The river of life, of light, flowing, warming, gracing, and our faces, our hearts, like the sunflower, turning, seeking, needing, wanting. We breath the light and the light breaths us. This is what I think when I read your comment. See how the dance works? :-)
