164. The Fourth Morn

And on the forth morn of the fifth equinox a confrontation of the likes not seen since Dauculus waged in the sky and on the ground. Calfuray had never encountered a Zing Tao. Von had never encountered an assassin the like of Calfuray.

May it be said, may it be written. Fire and water, earth and wind stood aside. Time became wide. Space heated. Rog stirred, Em cried, Shen froze and The Voice smiled.

That second part, I simply love. Full of suspence, another excellent short but sweet chapter. Beautiful frac too. :-)

After I got my hair cut yesterday I lost all my creative mojo, just like I feared. I was tempted to bring a broom with me and sweep up all my hair and bring it home just in case, but throwing caution to the wind I left it all on the floor.

As such I wasn't sure a chapter was going to come today. I was fully prepared to stay home and lick my wounds. Instead, right before lunch, this short little gem appeared from nowhere.

As always, thanks for the kind words. :-)

You've turned into a poet. How profound. What's happening now? Hurry up... write!

:-D

Well, here is what I think is happening. The confrontation in the air led both parties to the ground. From there, Von took on Calfuray allowing Kyra to slip away to find Mairi. Von and Cal are still going at it as far as I can tell. As soon as I have more information or breaking news, I'll post it here. :-)

Ooooh, poet. I kinda like the sound of that. Thanks Ter. :-)

Oh Meg, in that case, you must come back tonight for the Friday night Pamarita party. I'll see what I can do about those tingles. Only right, if I caused them you know. :-D

One benifit of missing a couple of days is the "sitting on the edge of my seat" isn't quite so bad, now I can read the next post, unless it is about other characters. ;-)

I do need the daily story fix though, oh yeah, and you and Jack too!

Hey Karen. Might there be a another surprise slumber party this weekend? Oh, and that is Jack asking, not me. :-D

Thanks for the kind words. I'll do my best to keep you supplied. :-)

No, sorry, not slumber parties around here, I'm taking a break from homework. LOTS of homework. Tomorrow is a ME day, I'm taking off south to see some new scenery and take some fall photos.

I did go to a party last weekend though, I need to write about it when I fully return (when I get a decent Sociology paper draft done). It was a party like when the G-Whiz thang began!

Karen, have fun and takes lots of pictures. I'm looking forward to another of your gorgeous collages. :-)

Hey, this fractal looks like a really nice pendant to me :)

Uh-oh, better bring a bag to keep all your hair when you go to a hairdresser. I'm sure plenty of readers wouldn't want this story to stop yet.

Saffy, I've learned my lesson. No more haircuts for me. I have establish as scientific fact: short hair equals little to no creativity. It's going to take about a month for it to grow back out, so be patient. :-D
