161. Fire of Truth

"Von, you knew Papa when he was a young hynerian. What was he like?" asked Kyra.

"He was unlike any hynerian I ever knew, one of a kind. His exploits on Zael were legendary," said Von.

"I know, heard the story a thousand times," laughed Kyra.

"As great as Ji was, he knew he needed a native to take the Tao to another level, and there was no one, and I mean absolutely no one, that could have done what Zeke, your Papa, did for the order. Did he ever tell you about the Fire of Truth?"

"Never heard of it Von."

"Ahh, well, it is all you need to know about Zeke. In the days after Ji handed him the reigns . . ."

"Sorry to interrupt your story Von," interjected Snazzle, "but I think you might want to look at this transmission I've just picked up from the target area."

Catagories: Story, Von, Kyra, Zeke, Ji, Snazzle

Stunning fractal, full of colourful light, made me think of the sitting Buddha I saw at Thailand's border last year, the heat and brightness of the sun making the gold and other jewel-like colours glow.

Slow burn on that fire of truth :-), got all settled to learn more about Zeke/Papa, still very much a great mystery, and then the tale to be told by Von no less who as we saw before has a way with words, was interupted before it even got off the ground.
A perfect tease. :-)

I don't know if I can deal with all the suspense you're dishing out around here.

Burst of fruit available for breakfast out on the deck this morning, have the urge to do a little tropical merging. Papaya, banana, guava, passionfruit and pineapple, with a little rum mixed into the juice to kick-start your day in a decadent way. :-)

Orange nut muffins to follow, I think. And hot, rich coffee a-plenty.
Served in an off-white cup with a slight lip of course, that goes without saying. :-)

Good morning, Poppet.

Magnificent work you've been doing. This frac, like fire creating water. Amazing sense of motion.
And Dr. Goldenhair Surprise. LOL Beautiful frac and a great song, now stuck in my head. Yay!

Big hugs to you sweet man. :) Missing you...and yet, with you every evening.
Aggie

PS - I obviously don't have the beta-blogger finess just yet.

Afternoon Sunshine. I wasn't planning on writing this one last night but just before time for bed I stumbled on the fractal you see and I knew right away it was a Zing Tao thing and that we would learn more about Zeke via Von using this image.

The chapter is short for two reasons. First, it was late and I was tired, but then again that has never stopped me before so the real reason is number two. I really have no idea yet what the Fire of Truth is all about! :-D

You see how these things work. Looks like there is a master plan. :-)

Glad you enjoyed Poppets blueberry buttermilk pancakes with Vermont maple syrup and farm fresh pure Iowa butter from a friend's private reserve. He doesn't make those for just anyone. :-D

Well Bean, if I knew you a little better I would say bend over, I've got a few ideas about how to release some of your building tension. :-D

Morning Aggie. Until you switch to beta, you can choose to comment by clicking on "other" which gives you the option to type in your name and web address rather than the anon route. Either way, I'm just happy to have you hanging around. :-)

Thanks so much for the kind words. Hugs and kisses my dear sweet sexy woman. :-)

The illusion of a master plan. That's a neat trick. :-D

Sssssssshhhhhh. Don't say that too loud. Some things should remain just beyond the horizon. :-D

Besides, is it the honey or the anticipation of honey that is more delicious? :-D I tend to get a lot of my wisdom from Pooh. :-D

Dang it, back to real life again...

You are definitely a tease, but in a good way. ;-)

Karen, I take the tease comment as a supreme compliment. Jack has a devilish grin thinking of you smiling. :-)

And all I have to say to that is.. "Reow".. my standard speechless reaction when I have a grin on my face I'm not sure what to do with. I really like it around here.

Bean, we try to have as much fun around here as we can. Sometimes the best parts of a post are in the comments. I've been blessed with many very loving and kind readers who like to give as much as take. They are a very friendly bunch so don't be surprised if one or two of them make it over to your place.

"Reow." Mmm, I think I like the sound of that. Funny thing is, the very sound conjures up a rather vivid imagine in my mind. I see the smile, the arch, and a certain seductive rotation of the hips. Oh, and I do have to warn you, I tend to have a very active imagination. :-D
