11. Perfect Food

For long journeys to parts unknown, Hynerians had perfected more than just the galaxy famous passion fruit. They had also perfected what came to be called perfect food. Perfect food is what everyone else called Hynerian eggs. Perfect since each individual egg contained everything one needed to sustain life--all the vitamins, minerals, calories, not to mention water, needed for perfect health. On a supply of Hynerian eggs a space traveler could survive indefinitely.

Bravo-Four-Zero had not been given much hope of finding an inhabitable planet, but they had been given enough perfect food to survive long beyond the supply of oxygen their small ship could carry. Hunger would be absent from this voyage. Unfortunately the same could not be said for fear and uncertainty.

Oh, tht is the coolest egg!

Oh my, a jewel encrusted egg - holding life within. I love it. Hunger for food and/oxygen not a problem - but the hunger for companionship and love not provided for.

Trée that is stunning.

I can't wait to see where this story goes, you are so good :0)

Sherri, I'm the hippest baddest dad in the neighborhood come Easter. :-D

Of course, eggs aren't the only thing kitchens (kitchen tables to be exact) are made for darlin'. :-)

Well said Terry.

Trée said...

Trace, the pressure. Just enjoy your egg hon, there will be time later to satisfy your story telling desires.

Anonymous said...

Trace, the pressure

no pressure here sweetie, I have full confidence in your abilities :0)

oooh story time, how fun :0)

Anonymous said...

ooooh, interest piqued. :D

Trée said...

Sherri, how sturdy is your kitchen table. If I yell brace yourself, will it handle the thrust?

Trée said...

Trace, I've been known to tell a decent bedtime story or two. A cappella too. lol

LOL! Solid oak on a 3 foot pedistal. No sweat!

Trée said...

Just make sure that cottontail doesn't get in the way. Would hate to have to extract it after the fact. Oh my--LMAO!!!

Anonymous said...

LOL! imagine explaining that to the ER.

Anonymous said...

I bet you do Trée, but I have a feeling after one of your stories, sleep would be the furthest thing from my mind :0)

Trée said...

New form of duster. Just cleaning out the dust bunnies. :-)

Trée said...

Oh, Trace, I have my methods to handle that little issue. When I'm done sleep won't be a problem, it will be a prerequiste for the next story.

Anonymous said...

On that note, I think I'll say good night. :D

I don't want to hold up mergrl's bedtime story.

a fun cure for sleeplessness, where do I sign up :0)

Sweet dreams Sherri. Remember, there is no try, only do or do not. :-)

Perfect egg! - never seen one prettier :-)

"Unfortunately the same could not be said for fear and uncertainty" Ooh, cliffhanger....

Trée said...

Sunshine, remember how this story started:

"Open yourself, open to me, open to us. Walk to the cliff. Feel the breeze that only lovers feel. Come to the edge with me."

Will you walk to the cliff with me darlin'?

Ahhh, morning my sweet. :-)

Trée, this is fantastic. The effects you have there are perfect. When I opened your site, I said, "Whoa, that's the coolest egg!" I made Wontar come look.

Trée said...

Thanks stargazer. Looking at this egg is making me hungry--for chocolate--lol. I see easter everytime I look at it. I do appreciate your kind words. Thanks darlin'.

night sweetie, gonna try and get some sleep, can't wait for the next installment :0)

sleep well when you do, sweet dreams (hugs)

Trée said...

Trace, sweet dreams dear. I'm going to be up all night trying to meet your expectations now. (jk)

See you in the morning. :-)

Only if you promise to hold my hand once we get to the edge, I'm not at my best with heights. ;-)

Seriously, will there be more? Have a feeling you would end the story there just to tease us :-)

Trée said...

I promise to hold your hand and never let go, even if hell itself were to try and swallow us up.

Well, what started as a single post has started to take on a life of it's own. As long as there is interest I'll continue the story for a bit longer although outside of some cabin fever on the flight to earth, not sure where this one is headed. I'm as surprised as you guys as to what's next. Many times, the fractal drives the story rather than the other way around.

showing all kinds of interest here :0)

(no I haven't made it into bed yet, going now LOL)

good night my friends :0)

Answering Terry's question about which comes first :-)
Interested, naturally, but no pressure to perform ;) - quite like the cliffhangar here,
plus there is always the excitement of what you will dream up next.
Never failing to thrill ;)

Faberage should hire you as the egg designer!
*The czars are long gone, but the eggs are forever*

Trée - I've been reading and keeping up. I've also been uploading these to the work PC to cycle in the background. They bring my spirits up during the day.

I think there might be a real possibility that I'm living on that island. Mentally anyway. I need it. It's so safe and warm and life is easy and painless.

Keep going. Keep the story alive. I look forward to every new, amazing, colorful step of the journey.
Much love to you.

morning Trée , hope you slept well and have a great morning :0)

Trée said...

Thanks Saffron. You are still bookmarked my dear and I will be visiting as much as ever--no worries there. :-)

Trée said...

Thanks Aggie. Always good to hear from you.

Trée said...

Trace, afraid I didn't sleep much last night. Woke up around 2am and was unable to go back to sleep. :-(

Thanks for asking.

Anonymous said...

well that stinks, sorry I wasn't around to provide a soothing backrub and warm cocoa to help you get back to sleep :0)

I usually only get around 4-5 hrs so I'm used to it, but if you're not.....hopefully you will still have a good day (hugs)

I'm off for a bit, I'll leave some strong coffee to help you keep your eyes open this AM
take it easy :0)

Anonymous said...

After wishing you sweet dreams 2-3 times, you hardly slept - doesn't make sense ;).
Anyways, mind if I have some of that coffee too?

Trée said...

Help yourself Sunshine. I've had about all I can drink this morning.

Anonymous said...

Any chance you can take a nap? :-)

Anonymous said...

Hey sweetie, hope you are surviving your sleep deprived day (hugs)

I so enjoy coming here, I learn a lot and your creations are incredible.

Happy Hump Day :-D *HUGS*

Trée,

This is Stacey (also known as Fractal Rock on blogspot).

This is an awesome fractal egg. Did you make it? I'm truly jealous.

Trée said...

A, no nap today. No worries, though my body and mind is weary and tired, my heart and spirit carry the load. They are such good companions too. Now, if you want to come over and snuggle for a bit, I think I could find the time. :-)

Trée said...

Trace, some days you just take it one phone call at a time.

Anonymous said...

I bet it doesn't taste one bit chocolatey.

Trée said...

Karen, such a nice thing to say. Thanks for stopping by and putting a little joy in my life. Your comments are always so positive in spite of the difficulties you have faced. I admire your ability to maintain a smile and to spread happiness and joy wherever you go. Hugs and kisses Karen.

Trée said...

Stacey, it's my egg--lol. Thanks for the very kind words. I've seen others do superb jobs with their eggs and I known when I really learn the program I can do better. I was happy with how the first one turned out. Perhaps by Easter I'll have my own egg collection. :-)

Trée said...

Ciera, lol, I bet you're right! My wife fixed eggs for breakfast, something she hasn't done in ages. I think my subliminal messages are working. Now if I can just produce a "don't buy any more chairs" fractal, I've got it made. :-)

Thank you for that, Trée. That which doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. Things happen to us for reasons and we all have our problems. We can either choose to fight or quit; I choose to fight. I wouldn't be anywhere though without a lot of support.

*HUGS & KISSES* to you too. Take care and get some rest.
