Campfire

There's going to be a chill in the air tonight so I've started a campfire. Come join me, relax, and get warm. The day is over and this night has never been here before. You don't want to miss it since it's a one-time only engagement.

Your campfire is so inviting and magical - promising laughter, fun, delight. The colors are dancing and mystical, and I want to warm by it's glow. Extraordinary.

I actually do have a campfire stoked and ready to burn in my garden right now, but somehow it seems so mundane next to yours.

Terry, thanks for those kind words. I too find the colors of this fire magical and perhaps mystical. It's not just an ordinary fire. Rumor has it, we might even get a visit from a very special storyteller. :-)

I love stories.

Trée said...

She had to go take a nap, but promised to drop by later. While we're waiting, have you heard the one about the little red square that could? :-)

Anonymous said...

I think I have, I think I have....

Anonymous said...

oooooh I can feel the magical warmth from here, very nice Trée

I love the colors, kind of like a fire on hallucinogins LOL

Has our storyteller made it here yet . . . Mmm, I might need to fill in. I'll give her a little longer on that nap. :-)

Terry, do you ride Harleys? I would love to see a pic on your site of you on your hog.

Trée said...

Keshi, come over here hon, I'll show you the magic from this side. :-)

Trée said...

Trace, you speak as one with first hand experience of such things. I expect a full posting by the morning. ;-)

Ahh...let's get some psychadelic marshmallows to go with that awesome, colorful fire.

I'll bring some blankets, Kaluha and rum. Mmmmmm.

OMG - sparked memory - The last campfire I was at was started with a bottle of Vodka. And we drank Peppermint Schnapps. Boy, we mixed up our drinks, huh?

Anonymous said...

hmmmm lets see, I know these things because.....I'm a nurse? Yeah thats it I'm a nurse lol

Agnes what a great idea, I think I have some special brownies around here somewhere LOL

and ewwwwww vodka and peppermint schnapps?

Trée said...

Could I see you both in my teepee. And bring the Kaluha.

Anonymous said...

LOL - peppermint schnapps makes for a horrible camp morning awakening. Kaluha is bit better. I can remember a Yukon Jack campfire once in the Mojave Desert... well I can sort of remember it.

Posting the Harley picture? I always feel something like a braggart when I show pictures of her. She's got gorgeous gatlin gun pipes though...

Ok - a song comes to mind:

"By the time we made it up to Greasy Lake
I had my head out the window
And Janey's fingers were in the cake
I think I really dug her cause I was too loose to fake
I said, "I'm hurt." She said, "Honey, let me heal it."
And we danced all night to a soul fairy band
And she kissed me just right like only a lonely angel can
She felt so nice, just as soft as a spirit in the night
(All night) in the night (all night)
Janey don't know what she do to you"

That's Manfred Mann Spirit's in the Night. Now there's a catchy tune Trée. ;)

do I need to see if Agnes has an extra pair of those boots :0)

Trée said...

All this Kaluha talk is making me want some Baileys on ice. looks at clock--do I really want to go out

Beautiful pic you posted today Terry. Wow.

Anonymous said...

Terry I want to see a pic, you know I have Harley envy right now LOL

Anonymous said...

Agnes
excellent song choice :0)

Trée said...

Here is my one word answer Trace: Yes! :-)

Anonymous said...

Go Trée...and bring back enough for all of us. LOL

For the record, I aspire to be a horrible influence. ;)

Anonymous said...

Trée my dear, that is why you always have Baileys at home just in case :0)

Anonymous said...

It's a great one Trace.
I just happen to have an extra pair of those boots and I bet their in your size.

Anonymous said...

I aspire to be a horrible influence. ;)

LOL

Anonymous said...

I'm sure they will fit perfectly :0) is this that bad influence thing LOL

Trée said...

Aggie, I'm gonna do a fractal to celebrate that song. Give me about an hour.

Trace, I might need some deep tissue work to get my mind right, since whenever Aggie comes around I'm usually half out of it. :-)

Trée said...

I know Trace, my bad. I might need to be spanked for that faux pas.

Anonymous said...

I have begun to believe "half out of mind" is the best place to be. Don't change a thing, just roll with it.

Trace...maybe I've been eating your brownies??

Terry, I seem to recall that after that campfire was my first ride on a Harley. You weren't in Nacogdoches in 1986 were you?? LMAO

:0)
always happy to oblige

Trée said...

Aggie, it's "bad influence." I read it in a romance novel so it must be true. ;-)

Trée said...

Oh Aggie, I can roll with it, don't you worry about that babe.

Anonymous said...

I might need to be spanked for that faux pas.

I'm sure I can come up with appropriate punishment (especially now that I am thinking about raiding my bailey's stash LOL)

I have begun to believe "half out of mind" is the best place to be. Don't change a thing, just roll with it.
Agnes few truer words have been spoken, and don't my brownies rock LOL

Trée said...

I think I need bare-handed tonight.

Anonymous said...

<---Aggie appears to be passed out on the lawn.

Anonymous said...

I think I need bare-handed tonight

:0)

Agnes, but the really question is....are you having fun?

Trée said...

Trace, I'll take care of this one. :-)

Anonymous said...

ok so I can't type :0)

real question (there try that)

Anonymous said...

I think I am...so I must be. LOL

Ok, gotta pay some attention to my other half. I'll attempt to awaken in about an hour. ;)

Anonymous said...

Its all yours :0)

Anonymous said...

I can see that this campfire has gotten waaaayy out of control. What happens at the campfire stays at the campfire.

Ha Ha Agnes, never been to Nacogdoches but it sounds fun...

Trée said...

Another thirty minutes Aggie and you'll have your spirit in the night, assuming technology cooperates. :-)

Anonymous said...

Was that one of the storyteller's stories?

Trée said...

Terry, this is what happens when the storyteller is late. But I ain't complaining mind you. lol

Anonymous said...

Ahem! :-)

Am I too late to join in? This is a really nice cozy pic - I like it ;-)

I've also noticed you quoted Lance in your sidebar - way cool! Now I'm all happy and fuzzy, I can go to bed with a smile on my face :-)

Anonymous said...

So Terry do we get to see a picture :0)

Trée said...

Leigh, you're always welcomed here. Besides with Aggie having passed out from too much Kahula we could use a little british influence.

Anonymous said...

Well, keep the fire burning. I'm off to an evening adventure of another kind. Toodles.

Anonymous said...

Tracey, I'll have to ponder the picture... ego or fame LOL

Trée said...

Terry, you can wear some clothes in the photo. We ain't asking for everything. lol

Anonymous said...

ROFLMAO

I'm a kind hearted person and wouldn't wish to appall anyone with such a sight.

Anonymous said...

Terry,
fame... pick fame LOL

have fun on your nocturnal adventures :0)

Trée said...

Terry, can't blame a fella for tryin. :-)

Anonymous said...

When I looked at this one the word "smolder" came to mind. I just love that word :-)

Trée said...

Hey Holly. Smolder is a great word. Hope you are having a great Friday. :-)

Anonymous said...

**Keshi, come over here hon, I'll show you the magic from this side.
