Ice Cube

I'd like to think when I touch the sky I touch the heavens and the heavens touches me back. They say we are made of the same material as the stars. Carbon, hydrogen, water and such. In my ice cube is the cosmos and in the cosmos is my ice.

This I believe. Touch me, touch the world, touch the universe, touch the beginning of time, for when can you divide me from the beginning. When. At what point. Touch me, touch time, touch all eternity. Love, hugs and kisses my friends.

Un-f**king-believable!!!
I downloaded the new version. OMG it does some amazing new stuff. Can't wait til I have time to mess with it.

As for now, staying attentive (and awake for that matter)is not my strong suit so be patient with me. I can't believe how exhausting emotions are.

It may be ages before I'm able to keep up with blogland again.
Of course, I always stop by to ogle and to read even if I can't wrap my head around words to write. :D

Peace and love my friend. Keep right on brightening my days.

I'll glady take the love and the hug but I think I'll pass on the kiss. Sorry. It's an age thing.

tree, sorry, I misspelled here, no accent! I must say, I like your art! It's nice to see a fellow cyclist blogging, by the way! I'm also a fellow Tennessean, just an expat livin' up north! I call home around Chattanooga and I'm temporarily marooned in the Hoosier State untill I finish college. Come on by and visit my blog if you like! I'm runnning a thing called "Spinner Saturday" among other things where I collect miles ridden and I post a graph of participants on the next post. Keep pedalin' and again, very nice artwork.......shows a wonderfull talent!

rofl, i_wonder.
'tis ok, Trée, I'll just take two :-)

I don't even know what to say about the words...
The fractal looks like a photograph of something solid.

Agnes says it best, as so often, un-f***ing-believable!

Einstien taught us about the speed of light, and how long it takes for the light of a far away star to reach the earth. We are not talking about a flash or an instant here, but lightyears, eons, and centuries.

I cannot help but to be struck with awe when I gaze at the stars and realize that what I am really doing,

is looking back in time.

You've got quite a way with words... beautiful... so was the art!

Have a great day! *hugs*

Very pretty. I like the ice cube effect. I think it looks like a lovely, stylised sunflower. Good morning Mr. Talented :-)

Hello Tree,

Beautiful poem.

Ha! Got it. Copy and paste!!! love it.

Well, that does explain a lot. No wonder my friends can't stand me, I'm an ice cube in need of some thawing! HA!

Love the pic.

Trée said...

Ciera, just make sure you thaw inside of a glass. ;-)

Thanks for the kind words and good to see you again.

Trée said...

Beard, hello back at ya. I hadn't thought of this piece as poetry but I'll take the compliment and run like I stole it. Thanks my friend. :-)

Trée

Yeah - previously when I've tried to thaw, I've been accused of leaking all over the place. Can't have that!!! Lol!

Trée said...

Oh Terry, you always know just what to say to make me smile. Thank you dear. :-)

Trée said...

Thanks Karen. Hoping you are having a great day too. Hugs and kisses :-)

Say hello to all those bananas for me.

Kel, what can I say, you speak the truth. As a history major I always loved the idea of looking into the night sky and seeing history writ large. Always made me wonder if the things we were seeing were still there. Thanks for stopping by again. :-)

Trée said...

Sunshine, you can have as many as you like sweetie. :-)

t_stormcrowe, always good to see another cyclist on the blogosphere. I'll check out your site, sounds interesting. Thanks for the very kind words too. I appreciate the encouragement.

Trée said...

Paul, I think Autumn has happily requested your kisses, so no worries there--lol.

Trée said...

Aggie, what can I say. The enthusiasm of your compliments always fires me up. Thank you so much dear. I think I look forward as much to your comments as you do to seeing these images. :-)

Take care. Emotion can drain you without you ever knowing it. I'll be thinking of you.

Trée said...

George, :-)

Trée said...

Haridas, thanks for stopping by and thanks for your very kind words. The images you see I've created using fractal software. You can create you own images by downloading the Apophysis software (it's free) off the web. The program is a blast to work with. Have fun and hope to see you stop by again soon.

Trace, as always, your comments are deeply appreciated. Hope you're having a great day.

Trée said...

Ciera, lol, yes, leaking is not good. :-)

Hey Valentino, just stopping in to say HI! :D

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

Trée said...

Hot damn right. Just checking. :-)

(Now does it look like a poem?)

You know Beard, it does. Thanks for doing that for me. I wrote the piece as straight prose but I like the way you've broken it down.

Oooooh, do it again Keshi, do it again--lol.

Some of the line got split but you get the idea. I think it makes a great poem.
