Pennies from Heaven; Pennies in Chocolate

Pennies from heaven or pennies in chocolate. Either way, I'm not complaining. As you can see, my mind has already turned to food on Thanksgiving eve.

Special thanks tonight to so many of you who have lifted my spirits day after day with the wonderful comments you all have left for me here. I can't find the words to say how deeply they are appreciated. Each day I am reminded of the power of a kind word. And I am eternally grateful to all of you, my friends.

Happy Thanksgiving Trée, hope you have a wonderful holiday :0)

k, the top image is the original fractal darkened just slightly to adjust for proper contrast but otherwise untouched. The botton fractal is the original image after a fair amount of playing with Photoshop to add the texture, color and overall appearance. I'm trying to push the images to look different and interesting and perhaps a little unique. In this case, I liked the original too much not to post it, but I love the chocolate one too; hence the posting of both.

Thanks for you sweet works baby k. :-)

Hey sweet thang, sorry I'm late for the welcome home bash!
:-) (connection problems, again!).

What a treat to have so many new fractals up, all individually wonderful, though I'm especially loving all that chocolate :-)

Happy Thanksgiving, x

Welcome back dear. So very good to see you again.
These fractals are BRILLIANT! Pennies from Heaven. Perfect.

Incredible what you do with photoshop. Your patience is much greater than my own.

A, I was going crazy in Phoenix. The hotel had "limited" internet access, which meant I could see sites but could not log onto them. So although I could see people leaving comments, most of the time I was unable to respond and I was never able to actually post anything. I felt like a kid with his face up against the store window yelling for someone to open the door and no one could hear me. So good to be back and connect again with all my friend here. :-)

Hope you are doing well. I stopped in on Justin's site last night and it seems he is going through a very rough time. He is in my thoughts today. I think you are a very valuable friend to him.

Aggie, I wouldn't say patience as much as just having fun. I do have a ton of patience but when I'm in photoshop I'm like a kid in the candy store. I know just enough to be dangerous and these fractals are giving me a real chance to get to know the program much better.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving my dear sweet child and know that I will be thinking of you and thinking of the kitchen table and thinking of you and the kitchen table. ;-)

Sherri, I've got more sweet stuff for my snowbunny than just that chocolate.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and when you're done with the main course, slip over here for a little dessert. Take care sweetie. :-)

Trace, I feel the same way. Amazing how close one can feel to online friends and how valuable they can be in our life as a whole. I count all you guys as very important friends. Have a great day with family and friends dear. :-)

Thanks Leigh. I know how you felt after the last few days of being unable to post. Thanks for the well wishes. Do some riding for me today. I've always riden on Thanksgiving in the past, but today I'm just gonna lie on the sofa and eat as much as I can without getting sick--lol. :-)

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Tree.

Hmmm, I like chocolate but I don't think I'd eat this batch, after all, who knows where those pennies have been?

sometimes a break is good, and sometimes looking in from the outside, or outside from within, helps us to see things with perhaps a different perspective than that with which we are used to seeing things.

Happy Thanksgiving Tree, and welcome home!

Happy to see your place lit up and cozy after an empty few days :-) Welcome back Trée! You didn't waste any time getting some cool pics up - nice Dandelion. Love the diversity. Ummm, chocolate!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Jack, in this case, wise choice. Ever notice how dirty money is? The first time I ever played slots I was shocked at the end of the day how dirty my hands were from just dropping coins in the machines. I've never been able to look at coin money the same way since. :-)

Lisa, that's very wise and insightful advice. Good to see you stopping by again. Thanks for the well wishes. Not sure if you guys in Canada do anything on this day, but all the same, from the States, let me wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving day too. :-)

Oh, and it's very good to be back home.

Terry, it does feel good to see activity again on this site. I missed the interaction with all my friends. Thanks for your kind words and may you have a wonderful Thanksgiving day. :-)

:-) It feels so strange, when I don't talk you all, glad I'm not the only one who feels that way ;).

Haven't spoken to J, since I got cut off yesterday (over 24 hrs) - quite worried, must admit.
