9. Hynerian Homeworld

The Hynerians came from a water planet populated with islands of various geometric designs. Much like the passion fruit, the waters surrounding their islands were as warm as the Caribbean in summer, yet just a few hundred feet inland the climate changed to one of snow and ice.

The warm waters were therapeutic and much loved. The cold and snow and ice were not. In searching for a new land, they sought to keep the warm waters and combine it with a warm climate. Our mythical little island, which is not on any map nor can it be seen from the open water, was deemed by Rygel's relatives to be paradise, the best of both worlds.

beautiful Trée, it looks like delicate coral :0)

You'd have to ask the Hynerians. I'd say it just looks prurdy. :-)

Did your day rawk! Oh, how I love that spelling. lol

Anonymous said...

LOL, now that I am home, it definitely rawks LOL

and yes its very purdy :0) and having seen coral up close and personal many times, you just have to trust me :0)

how was your day darlin?

Trée said...

Reflective is the word I would choose. Relaxingly Reflective in a Rawking sorta way. ;-)

Anonymous said...

the 3 R's LOL sounds like a decent way to spend the day :0)

Trée said...

I would prefer the company of a woman in boots and a red cowboy hat, but you take what you can get. :-)

Anonymous said...

;0)
just the boots and the hat?

Anonymous said...

Very nice topographic effect!

Hmm... shouldn't you have a "Farscape" link somewhere?

Trée said...

Wontar, thanks. I'm still too pissed that the SciFi channel didn't continue the series. Who cared if it was too expensive--lol.

Trée said...

Trace, you're right. Boots, hat and a damn good attitude. :-)

Anonymous said...

Oh Wontar, so you to point out the 'Farscape' reference. LOL

Good story Trée :)

Farscape was a great show though!

Anonymous said...

and a damn good attitude

LOL, something I never leave home without :0)

better start a fire in the fireplace though, in this weather, in that outfit, might get a bit nippy LOL

Trée said...

Stargazer, Farscape was my all time favorite SciFi show. I joined Netflix just to be able to rent all the episodes. I'll tell you this, if you ever have a chance to watch the show with a 500 watt surround sound system, it's like watching it all over again for the first time.

When I did "The Natives" fractal, the first thing I thought was, "Hey, that looks like a distance cousin of Nygel." And, in my mind, so it is--lol.

How I miss that series.

Trée said...

For the record, my story with the Hynerians is purely from my imagination and bears no resemblence to the actual history of Hynerians as told within the Farscape universe--if there is even such a thing. ;-)

Trée said...

One fire started. Do we need a bearskin rug too?

Anonymous said...

I like this island! Does it have sandy beaches as well?

Trée said...

Sand as white and pure as the driven snow.

Anonymous said...

hmmmm well you know how tactile I am LOL

:0) fire....bearskin (or should that be bare skin?)......there goes fault #1 :0)

Anonymous said...

Hmmm.... best of both worlds. I could lay out in the sun and be a snow bunny. LOL

Trée said...

I have lit one hundred and forty seven candles of various sizes in different colored glass containers. The lighting effect surrounding the fireplace is stunning. The room is filled with a warm glow to the eye as well as skin.

Trée said...

Sherri, sun babe by day, snowbunny by night. Not a bad life.

Anonymous said...

oh my......

that sounds absolutely wonderful

Trée said...

Can I get a "Magnificent!" Took a long time to light all those candles. :-)

Anonymous said...

hmmm... a girl could get used to that.

Trée said...

You bring the cottontail and I'll bring the carrot. Fruit is almost ready. Hope you're hungry.

Anonymous said...

I'm starved. LOL

Anonymous said...

baby you can get anything you want LOL

that is magnificent Trée (said in that tone of voice, the right facial expression, and the eyes round with just a touch of sparkle)

:0)

Trée said...

Poor baby, I'll hurry.

Trée said...

Trace, I love a fast learner. You must be doing very well in your classes. :-)

Anonymous said...

head of my class :0) its all about repetition and pracitce does make perfect :0)

Anonymous said...

I look at your island, and see nothing but ...Iceland.... must be a dream Iceland though as the shape is a tad different :-) Very cool effects Trée.

Trée said...

Thank you Terry. So glad to have you back. You were missed my dear, boots, hog and all. :-)

Trée said...

"head of my class"

ROTFLMAO, yea, I was thinking the same thing but without the class. A man doesn't light one hundred and forty seven candles for nothing. :-)

Anonymous said...

LMAO

hon I think I can come up with proper compensation :0)

Trée said...

I place my trust in your warm firm educated hands.

Anonymous said...

I place my trust in your warm firm educated hands

:0) your trust, various body parts LOL.....they would all be well treated :0)

Trée said...

I would expect you to bring to bear all ten years of your hard earned nursing experience. The white button up outfit wouldn't hurt either.

Anonymous said...

I just knew that training would come in handy :0)

now where did I put that dress.....:0)

Trée said...

I thought you were going to say gloves, as in latex. :-)

Anonymous said...

whip toosh - things are really crackin around here... whew, is it hot in here?

Anonymous said...

I can always just skip the dress :0)

hmmm red cowboy hat, boots and latex, now those are 3 things you just don't usually see together :0)...... I'm good with it LOL

Anonymous said...

okay whos trace? is it tree or mergrl? I'm confused! LOL

Anonymous said...

Hi Terry (jumping up and down waving from missouri)

so glad you are back!

Anonymous said...

okay whos trace

that would be me LOL

Trée said...

Terry, must be all those candles plus the fireplace. Blame Trace.

Anonymous said...

LOL - looks like I've been missing lots of shannigans (jumps up and down waving back in California - dodging incredulous looks from co-workers)

Say, aren't you cold in the getup?

Trée said...

Kathy, mergrl is Trace--short for Tracey. Somehow, when I post to your blog it converts my name to something that looks like Tr@ce. Welcome back. :-)

Anonymous said...

YOu know, all the "T" word names are confusing... but so cool.

Trée said...

Mmm, I say if you got the red cowboy hat and the moc boots we don't really need the latex too. Ok, now my fault #1 is starting to kick in. lol

Anonymous said...

Say, aren't you cold in the getup? hence the need for the fire :0)
and just ignore your coworkers :0)

Ok, now my fault #1 is starting to kick in

oh goodie, I'd hate to be the only LOL

Trée said...

Terry, see what happens when you leave for just a couple days--lol. Did you go back to read about the flower candles floating down the river? It was two posting down from Limitless. Hurry back child, and don't let that draft in. :-)

Anonymous said...

"Hurry back child,"...

Ah Trée, you are such the charmer... sigh.. to be called child again :-D

Back in a dash -

Trée said...

Trace, I think we're all alone, better hurry before Terry gets back.

Anonymous said...

LOL well I don't usually like to hurry things, but quickies do have their merit :0)

Anonymous said...

I read the entire piece - so lovely. I want to copy it and read it to my Lover. It is so dreamy. Much too serious for this cozy candle filled place full of laughter and bawdy winks... the twinkly eyes are flashing brightly!

Sorry kids, I'm back. Straighten up!

Trée said...

Well Terry did mention the "O" word on her blog.

Anonymous said...

!!!!!!!!!!ROFLOL!!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

I read that LOL, but I managed to refrain from commenting on it (difficult as it was LOL)

Trée said...

Just so you guys know, I'm not going to stand in the way of keeping warm on a cold night. Whatever it takes.

Anonymous said...

LOL, always so thoughtful, willing to sacrifice to take on for the team :0)

Anonymous said...

having typing problems again

"on" should have read "one", but on works too LOL

Trée said...

Yes, take "on" the team--lol.

Anonymous said...

ROFL even my typos are bad :0)

you workin on something new for us tonite Trée?

Anonymous said...

Topping that dreamy river saga would be a hefty task. Really, it was so deep.

Trée said...

Not if I type another forty messages--lol. Possible but no promises. Do you have a request on the next chapter of my fantasy island? Of course this story is driven my the fractals, not me.

Trée said...

Terry, did you read the Caribbean Canopy post? That's the one that started this latest story line.

Anonymous said...

so stop typing LOL

no requests, I like the anticipation of the not knowing what is next :0)

Anonymous said...

"Me and you, one island, one union, one time. Warm, wet, sweaty, intoxicatingly bewitching. Breathe. Just breathe. Now. With me. As us. As one."

Good heavens Trée, you could write steamy novels and make a fortune. Don't you know you have a fabulous talent? It should be evident to even a boy such as yourself, as you take a look at all the women flocking to your blog... sheesh. And I swore I'd never be a groupie...

Anonymous said...

LOL join the club Terry, and isn't that just the steamiest stuff you have ever read :0)

Trée said...

Terry, I think there might be one more charter VIP groupie membership app lying around here somewhere. :-)

Thanks for the kind words. Such encouragement will only get you more of the same. ;-)

Anonymous said...

Doan need no stinkin application... I'm already a gonner

Trée said...

Hot damn, that's the attitude that will get you everywhere and everything.

Anonymous said...

Last again...What can I say that hasn't already been said. ;)
Fractastic - looks very real.

Trée said...

Morning Sunshine. Have you had your eggs yet? I made them sunnyside up, thinking that's the way you would like them. :-)

I should have gone here first. Although incredibly descriptive and what I need to (visualize) I truly believe it was that particular post in Nov 2006 that kept me coming back!
(smile)

Trée said...

~d, welcome to the world of Hynerian, or at least the world that was before the hurricanes destroyed it.

I kinda like that chapter in Nov 2006 too. Had fun writing that one and had fun reading it back too. :-D
