640. I Made You Tea

Overheard, Trev and Em:

T: I made you tea. What more can I do?

E: I gave you my smile. What more do you need?

T: Be the Hall for the strings of my voice.

E: Do you not see infinity in the glint of my eyes?

T: Only the moment in the curve of your lip.

E: Show me.

There is, for me, an entire world in Trev's opening line and for the past couple of days I thought to publish this chapter with that line only. The act of making tea, of sharing tea, of the giving of oneself wholly, intimately, the touching of cups and the exchange of looks, where voices are as violins and the walls as a concert hall. Well, I think you get the idea. ;-)

O dear, I wish someone would make some tea for ME.

I went without my tea today...On my birthday too... :(

...because there was a strike all around & there was no milk in the house! ( I don't like black tea)

Happy Birthday Mona! If I were there, I'd make you tea and we wouldn't need words to enjoy it. :-D

Thanks for the link. You deserve every word said in your honor. I've always said your 55s were masterpieces. :-)

Happy Birthday Mona, xo

Suggestive title, I loved already the chapter from this first bit. Suggestive in the way that you have written of here in your comment. Thoroughly engaging harmony, sway like the gentle bobbing of a boat, of alternating breath - the breathing of another, of give and take, most delightful.

Ms Storm, you have found the rhythm like a coin at the bottom of a limpid lake. Love the idea of a gentle swing or a boat rocking in the midday sun. Wonderful images and both fit perfectly. :-)
