That's a beautiful picture.

I suddenly hear J. Giles singing in the background:

"Does she walk? Does she talk?
Does she come complete?
My homeroom homeroom angel
Always pulled me from my seat

She was pure like snowflakes
No one could ever stain
The memory of my angel
Could never cause me pain"

now this photo,
for example
clearly illustrates
one of the many reasons
i am reluctant to post a picture
of my homely self.
sometimes inner beauty alone
is not enough
without a little plaid.
and besides,
i think my arm
is bigger than her leg.
(okay maybe not)
and even when i was born
my skin didnt look as good
as hers does now...
oh well
kind of gives fractal
a whole new meaning....

I didn't notice the skin. But I did notice the plaid. Give me good plaid and everything is but a minor insignificant matter. :-)

Howdy Lisa. Forget the pictures. They don't matter.

Thanks A. Wish I had taken it. I just love the Fall color and golden leaves represent that season better than just about anything except perhaps a plaid skirt and lamb wool sweather. :-)

Aggie, now that song is gonna bounce in my head all night. Have a safe drive home. Sorry if I disrupted your day by posting the FNF a little early. I was in need of something a little frivolous this afternoon. ;-)

i'm sorry,
that girl does not sweat.
and even if she did,
i have a feeling
it would airbrushed...

everything matters.
(tho i suppose in retrospect
nothing matters, too.)

Trée said...

Mind over matter. If I don't mind, it don't matter. LOL

Sorry Lisa, had to throw that one in. :-)

Tree Tree
you're very low key
today.
but thats okay
everything's okay
it matters
and i have no mind

The night is still young Lisa. Work was a beotch today and it was all completely unnecessary. I'm trying to act like a ghost and let the uglyness just past through me without attaching to it. Instead, I feel like I'm made of flypaper.

ROTFLMAO--At least I can still make myself laugh at myself. :-)

thats a very good tactic
being translucent
and not taking it in,
but rather letting it pass on thru
and beyond you
till it gets smaller and smaller
and farther away from you.
while you're at it you might as well
punch a bunch 'o holes in the flypaper
and toss some funny powder on the sticky part
or simply install a strip of non stick
over top the sticky part and let everything else
just roll off and slide back to wherever it
came from...
being an absorber
is usually no fun
and terribly toxic for you.
i think you need
some plaid.

what kind of work
are you involved in?

Lisa, today I was doing some recruiting. The accounting department I work with for billing purposes wanted to screw some money from one of my recruiters on a placement and they got a little nasty on the phone. Problem is, the policy hasn't changed in five years and the new accounting person just made an ass of themselves attacking me for defending the agreement on record for services rendered. I didn't respond in kind, but simply said I would have the owner educate us all on the deal. Oh well, life moves on.

Truer words were never spoken, on both accounts. ;-)

well, your calmness and professionalism
saved the day
egos egos egos
people screwing people
(and no, you may not take that
out of context)
lack of integrity
and lots of insecurity...
without compassion and caring
in our day to day life
it makes no sense
to fake it in church on sundays only

plaid.

Interesting angle, I thought you could only do that with babies, with adults, gotta climb on a table to take that shot, no?

Anonymous said...

I like the angle of the shot. But somehow I see no plaid...just legs!

Trée said...

Or a ladder. :-)

Trée said...

Interesting Chicky, I see no legs, only Plaid. I wonder if it's a Mars and Venus thing. ;-)
