Hmmm. Sort of hypnotizing, isn't it?

Hypnotizing and seduction, where does one draw the line? Jack, I expect a haiku on this matter soon. lol

The two kinda merge after a while - depends on the seduction and how it's done, but absolutely if it has the colours of this one :)
Nice fractal, Trée.

Tree, is there a website for this fractal thingy?

Very pretty!!

I especially like the bottom righthand corner, where the green overlaps with the blue. In it's entirety, it has to me an 'infinite' quality about it.

Oh man. I am SO setting my render to a higher number!

Saffron, google "Apophysis" and you will find the program. It's a free download and a lot of fun.

Bring it on Aggie, if you think you got the ovaries! LMAO--I can't wait to see what you create today. The more you work with the program the better you get. Have fun and I'll be checking in from time to time. :-)

Sunshine, if I had not called this one "Seduction" my second title was going to be "Infinity."

My third title was "Me and [censored] down by the Lake." A little humor warms the soul doesn't it. :-)

Our eyes all see the exact same work, yet, our minds interpret and process the image to reflect that which is in us.

My favorite Gandhi story is the one of his assassination when his last uttered word was "love."

The story goes, "the only thing that can come out of you is that which is in you." The author's point in this case was even when shot and dying, the only thing in Gandhi was love; thus, it was the only thing that could come out.

I've always found this story interesting and it always gives me pause when I reflect in this way.

A, always glad to introduce something that sparks the thought "pretty" in the mind. Have a wonderful day sweetie. :-)

whoa...cool

Perception and impression - everyone differs, which often leads to misunderstanding. Nothing much to be done about that, except to try and maintain an open mind.

Hope you are having an absolutely wonderful day too!

Tara, what a great compliment from such a masterful artist as yourself. "whoa . . .cool" I think says it all. Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you again. ;-)

Thanks Karen. I appreciate the movie recommendation--it's on my list to see now.

I'm using this image as my wallpaper and I too find myself just staring at it in an almost hypnotizing sort of way. Kinda seduces you into it's vortex--lol.

{Mr.Jack Banana inserted here}

Hope you are having a great weekend too. :-)

This one's got a real nice flowy feeling to it. I second the hypnotizing and feeling lost sensation it gives.

My mom's a painter and I showed her your apophyses today. She was very excited and wanted to find out more about the software.
I looked around and found a few free fractal softwares I could download for her but wasn't sure which one's a good one. May I ask which one you're using?

Melly, I've been using two different programs:

This image was created with Apophysis (freeware); a couple of the other images were created with a program called Chaoscope (freeware too). A Google search should turn up websites for both where the programs can be downloaded.

Chaoscope is easiler to use and takes less time to render an image but I believe Apophysis gives more depth and more variety to possible fractal images.

If you need anything more, just drop me a note. Tell her to be careful, both programs can induce what one reader calls "mind melt," which is to say both programs are highly addictive.

Enjoy.

So pretty. The colors are enchanting and, as the title suggests, very seductive. :o)Purple is the color of passion, right?

k, you are so abso-f***ing-lutely correct. :-)

Melly, you're welcome. Let me know how your mom likes the program. I would love to see some of her work. If she doesn't have a blog, perhaps one day you could have a "best of" from mom on yours.

Enjoy your time overseas. As a history major I envy your opportunity to see so much "old stuff." lol

You definitely need a gallery!

Oliviah, coming from you and your work, I'd take that as the highest of compliments. Thank you sweetie.
