191. Tightening the Net

Looking from the Aegis' bridge, John spoke to Tom. "Beautiful isn't it, the net. Is it fully operational?"

"Yes sir," replied Tom. "Ain't nothing on that planet getting off without us knowing."

"Good. Status of our search and rescue mission?"

"Teams fully employed. We expect contact within hours."

"Thanks Tom. Alert me as soon as contact is established, I'll be in my quarters. I want full A/V Tom. No unexplained static this time."

Tom nodded.

"And Tom."

"Yes sir?"

"We need the Null alive. As for the rest, use operational judgment. "

"Understood."

Brilliant fractal, tantalising tale! Can't wait for the next installment (as usual).

Keshi, that is such a sweet thing to say. I've been on the road so much lately I feel like I'm missing me too. :-D

Thanks for the hug. I've got a few for you too. Meet me on the bridge. :-)

Thanks Jenni. I love this fractal too for a couple reasons. First, it fits very nicely into the story at this point in time and, second, it doesn't look like most of the fractals I do, and that is nice. Plus, it looks really, really cool. :-)

As always, your kind words are very much appreciated.

Before I read the "net" title I thought this was an interstellar foot bridge! Impressive image.

Thanks Jack. I loved this image the moment I saw it. Creating fractals is like going on a treasure hunt. You just never know when some mutation of an image is going to give the most delightful result.

Meg, you make me smile. Now bend over and brace yourself. You did bring your plaid skirt didn't you? :-D

Meg, I'll be politely persistence in my administrations of afternoon delight and merriment. Keep your feet firmly planted, for proper foundation is necessary for ample rotation and mind-tingling friction warm like thyme honey on a spring afternoon. You can lick the spoon when we're done if you like--it is encouraged. :-D

Not sure what it is about it exactly, but I agree with everyone else, this is one fractastic fractal. And dear John, any mention of him and I'm sold straight off. That authorative voice, yum, gives me shivers. :)

Take care, poppet, safe journey home, xoxo

feel like takin a walk by the lake with ya...and then we'll stop for some angelic stuff on the bridge LOL! ;-)

Poppet is just LHAO at the interpretation of John in this very short exchange. Little did I know. :-D

All I can say is, Glad to be of service. :-D

Big Sigh. My dear southern angel, prepare yourself. I feel a very strong sense of focused energy that will do more than just knock your socks off and back on again. Leave several pages of your diary blank because you are going to want to write about this experience for days. :-D

Keshi said...

hell yeah Im so sure of that! Maybe I'd need a new and separate blog for that :):)

Keshi.

Trée said...

Yes, I think so. Be prepared for daily entries, especially around lunchtime. :-)

Keshi said...

lunchtime? clue plzzz!

Keshi.

Trée said...

Oh, I just have a thing for strong sturdy wooden tables, the kind one could lean against and they wouldn't budge. ;-)

Keshi said...

Trée said...

Just wait till you see what I have in mind for dessert. I'll complete you! And you can put that in your blog.

Oh my.

Trée said...

Thanks Steve. It's one of my favorites.

Keshi said...

I know u will totally 'complete' me in a manner I'd never know how to explain hehehe ;-) Had a good weekend Tre?

Don't you hate it when you type an entire post and then go to publish it, but blogger thinks otherwise...and thus your post is annhialated into some bizzare internet stratosphere, never to be read by human eyes?
Yeah, me too.

I'll try again.
I said (I think): "Hello sweet man. I hope this post finds you well. I haven't kept up with the story so I won't try. As for this frac...well..it's...how can it even be a frac??? It's entirely unbelievable!!! Ever read Arthur C. Clarke's Rama? This reminds me of Rama. I wonder how that fits with the story.
Hugs and love and big, harvest moons to you.

Awwwh, Kehsi, what a beautiful thing to say---just like those pics you posted. Just beautiful, inside and out. :-)

Morning Aggie. Always so good to see you and yes, I have felt the pain of a long comment evaporating into the blogosphere. I feel your pain, although I think I would prefer to feel a few other things around 10pm or so. :-)

I have not read Rama. Is it worth picking up? Thanks for the kind words my dear sweet hot and very, very sexy boot wearing blogger babe of a woman. I do miss you terribly you know.
