Tumbling into the New Year
Today was a bit too chaotic to move the story forward but this does give me a chance to post another pretty pic that was probably never going to make it otherwise. Enjoy the eye candy. Story returns tomorrow--he says with fingers crossed.

absolutely beautiful Trée, I am so glad we are getting to see these fracs too (personally think you need another blog to just post the fracs that you are makin now that we don't get to see here LOL)
it reminds me of the candy my grandmother always had at her house when I was little
Thanks Trace. I've got a bunch like this, very pretty, but haven't seen how to use them in the story so they just kinda sit. I may post a few every now and then as a short interlude or intermission in the story when time runs short. The next two weeks will be the busiest of the year for me with one of those weeks in Tucson, so I might need to put a few of these other images up to have a daily post. Thanks for the kind sweet words darlin'.
Travel to Tucson next Sunday for a week. Teaching a class on Time Management among other things. Weather should be very nice. Shorts and t-shirts and the like.
This post only showed up now, despite refreshing the page earlier, weird. Anyway, agreeing with Trace again to say, it'll be nice to see some of those other fractals.
DJB, thanks for the wonderful compliment. You have done many fabulous images and I believe if you had XenoDream, you would do many things to surpass what I have done. I do appreciate your kind words very much.
Sunshine, your care and concern always makes me feel very special. I do appreciate you checking in on me and asking. I'm making my special spaghetti and meatballs for tonight. Been cooking for about 5 hours now and the house smells wonderful. This is the dish that friends fly from miles around to have me fix. It's an old family recipe that my great grandfather brought over from Sicily around the turn of the century. I made my grandmother teach me how to make it about 12 years ago. Wish you were here to join me. :-)

Temps here in Tucson will be in the mid-70s in the daytime but mid-30s at night. In other words: think "layers".

It reminds me of the hard candies my grandma kept on the end table. They were always fused into a solid mass by the time she would let us eat them. :D
