Two ways to go with the next chapter: (1) Back to our normal "real time" prose; or (2) The Interview Part II. I'm leaning toward the latter but don't want to overuse the technique. Give me your feedback in the comments.
Btw, next chapter sees Kyra at Kieran's bedside. Does she or doesn't she tell him how she feels. You can share your opinion on that one too. I'm torn.

Oooh, tell me more about the "no." I'm leaning that way but would like to hear why you think so. I surveyed the five woman in my office and they all said she should spill it all out! But I'm leaning toward no. What say ye. :-)

Kyra just doesn't strike me as a woman who would lay herself bare, not even having the capacity that she does and not even under those emotional circumstances, seems to me like it would be too 'much', she is more slow and steady, in control - at least until she loses control. Sitting in a hospital room would not be the place for it, besides she would be feeling vulnerable after the episode where she passed out and had to be carried back to her quarters, she would feel the need to prove to herself that she is in control, that she can handle her emotions, save it to be expressed when she chooses rather than spilling it all out there and then.
I think, Kieran needs to do some legwork first, he needs to win her over, make some grand gestures, force her hand so to speak.
