86. Not Good

Animus in action. No known case on record showed this deep a penetration into a live patient. Trev couldn't explain why Kieran was still alive nor could he offer Kyra any hope the agent of retribution would work. In fact, it appeared not to be working at all.

Stunning! The inner space, of the imagination.

Awww Alexandra, those words sound so sweet as I hear them in my overactive imagination. Thank you darling. :-)

Because Kyra is special, she is destined for something yet incomprehensible to mere mortals.
;)

Saffron, that's what my gut is telling me too. :-)

Worrying news, thankfully delivered with such a very beautiful image to detract from the potentially hopeless.

PS Hello :-) Hope you're having a lovely evening.

Trée said...

Don't lose hope Sunshine. Hope is the last foothold Kieran has. I think he's going to need something more than the agent or Trev. What exactly that is I'm not exactly sure yet.

Anonymous said...

I haven't. Nothing is over until it is over. :-)

I think we might see Papa Kyra again--soon--as in the next post or two. I think there is another lesson Kyra hasn't told us about yet. :-)

Sounds good, have missed listening to him.
Happy dreaming, when you get that far, x

Trée said...

I've been missing Zeke too. No one else quite like Papa. :-)

I think I need to do a sketch or two of him. What do you think? :-D

Anonymous said...

You've got some imagination, Tree. Boundless! :)

Trée said...

Chicky, darling, you haven't seen the half of it. :-D

Thank you my dear for your kind words. I'll take those sweet whispers to my slumber. :-)

This fractal is fascinating. I think I will stare at it a little more. My, you have taken fractal art to great levels in no time at all!

wow, what a gorgeous pic! can't wait to see where the story heads next

hope you had a great monday :0)

Oliviah, creating fractals is like going on a treasure hunt. One little click, one small adjustment takes what appears to be nothing to what appears to be something special. I do so love "the fractal hunt." Then again, maybe I just have too much time on my hands. LMAO!

I've got a few more variations of this one we might see sooner or later. I really enjoyed playing with this one.

Tube, I think we are going into the deep water with a return to the days of Papa with a very interesting chapter coming soon. From there we go back into the iso ward with Kieran and Kyra for what will be perhaps a turning point in the story, perhaps a turning point in who we think Kyra is--even perhaps on who she herself thinks she is. Now if this stuff would just write itself. LOL

"a turning point in the story, perhaps a turning point in who we think Kyra is--even perhaps on who she herself thinks she is." - thoroughly intrigued! Have I told you how much I love this story?!!!

Absolutely do some sketches of Papa and soon, can't wait to see! :-)

Trée said...

I'm thinking of two sketches. One when he was a young Hynerian and one from the time that he and Kyra spent together in his later years. I have a general idea but need to really think through what exactly he looked like. If you have some ideas I'm all ears.

Where did this story come from by the way? :-D

Anonymous said...

From that delishious mind of yours! :-)

Lots of laughter lines around the eyes and mouth, full head of hair, slightly long for a man of his generation in a beautiful silvery grey colour, neat eyebrows, high cheekbones, firm chin, no facial hair, deep, smiling, loving, intelligent, sparkling eyes.
:-D

Trée said...

Well, I'll see what I can do. Is there an actor that comes close to the picture you have in your mind?

Anonymous said...

Oh, and as a young man, his hair and eye colour matched Kyra's though slightly lighter in tone, she takes after him appearance-wise also. He's not that tall, 5'8" maybe, but he has a presence, balance, strength of the mind as well as of the body. He may have had a moustace when he was a young man. He was more 'serious' then, until he met his wife.

Howard Keel's type of smile, pure warmth.

Trée said...

Oooh, I like that smile. Good choice. :-)

Anonymous said...

Another great post! You are the master of anticipation. Awesome fractal too.

Anonymous said...

Morning sweetheart, hope you have a great day (hugs)

A, perfect choice, Howard Keel had the best smile, that works well :0)

It's Tuesday, March 28th 2006! - hope it treats you well

Trée said...

Sunshine, couple more cups of coffee and I'll be ready. :-D

Hope your Tuesday has been better than you expected.

Trée said...

I must live in a cave. Before I Googled Keel last night, I can't say I knew who he was. But now that I've been edumacated, the dude does have an incredible smile. :-)

Jenni, blame the fractals and an image driven story. I was ready to move the story forward when this image jumped out and slapped me in the face last night. I wasn't looking for it, didn't need it, but yet, it was just too delicious not to weave into the story. Poor Kieran. Been on his death bed for months, yet in real time, probably not more than two or three days. :-D

I think we are getting to that time to fish or cut bait. :-)

Ah, a Starry Night. If this was on canvas I'd buy it. Beautiful.

Trée said...

Thanks Jack. That is one wonderful compliment and I do deeply appreciate it.

I really didn't need this one for the story but it was so stunning I just had to throw it in. Just when I think a particular program is running dry, out pops a fractal like this one and my energy and enthusiasm is renewed. Search long enough and a diamond or two always seems to rise to the surface.

Today, is the first day it looks and feels like spring here. My daughter is in NYC for a couple days--part of her senior trip. She seems to be having a blast.

Do you mean to tell me, you never seen Seven Brides for Seven Brothers or any other Keel musicals??!!
Shock :-D

Trée said...

On bended knee with head bowed in shame. I cannot tell a lie. Haven't seen any of them to the best of my knowledge.

Okay, I'm going to slither away back under my rock now. :-)

:-D

Hope you are having a lovely day!

Trée said...

Very nice Sunshine. The next chapter is written. Just awaiting an image. This one really doesn't lend itself to an image so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Of course, there is no rule that says I must have an image with every post. :-)

How was your day?

Anonymous said...

LOL alright we need to get you educated on american musical theatre LOL

Howard Keel was de' man in musicals in the 50's, my favorite of his being Annie Get your Gun :0) (with Seven Brides a close second)
(he also did a stint on Dallas on TV LOL)

Hope you are having a stellar day darlin (hugs)

I'm all for private tutoring Tubey. Tell me your office hours and I'll be there. Should I bring my stetson or just surprise you. :-D

Anonymous said...

oooooh, surprise me :0) I love surpises LOL

Anonymous said...

Busy, good, interesting :-)

"Bless your beautiful hide" Best Keel song :-)

Trée said...

"Interesting." Care to share? :-)

Anonymous said...

Interesting, it may have been, but the top highlight was still the post above :-D

Trée said...

:-)

Sometimes you just leave me speechless.

Anonymous said...

Tree, that is one of the coolest fractals I've seen in a long time!!! Superb creation! I'm green with envy. :)

Trée said...

Stacey, sometimes you just get a little lucky with these fractals. This was one were I just stumbled upon what you see. But I'm not complaining. :-)

Thanks for the kind words.
