Apophysis: Premature

Everything is as it is. It has no name other than the name we give it. It is we who call it something; we give it a value. We say this thing is good or it's bad, but in itself, the thing is only as it is. It's not absolute; it's just as it is. People are just as they are.

Ooooh, Trée, I really like that one! You're so good!

Both these fractals are really good!
Hoping today will make up for the last two.
Crappy two days here too, so let's hope the same for me ;-)

I stopped midstream, because I needed to comment on these photos. Both are outstanding. They make me want to stare at them. As a writer, the thoughts of who might have made such things make stories come to my mind.

Looks like a bouquet. Flowers blooming.
It felt very good to look at this one this morning.

I'm off and running. Thanks so much for being such a kind friend.
Same to Christa, Linny, Autumn, Becky, Tomeh, Kathy and so many more I can't pull from my brain at this moment when I need to.
Big warm hugs to all of you.
See ya soon.

Thanks k. About a minute after posting this one my cable went out for the night and I was unable to place the quote or adjust the pic. If you look closely, this is a slightly different version of the fractal. The first one was cropped just a little too close and the highlights were just a tad overblown.

As always, thanks for such welcomes words of kindness. I missed being able to respond last night, but I'm back up and running this morning. What would my life be without the internet? LOL

Sunshine, you know you are stressing when you start to practice the opposite of "API" (assume positive intent). I caught myself yesterday "reacting" in a way that assumed harmful and negative intent. Thanks God I had enough sense to let it sit for awhile. When I came back to the issue, I saw the work of my imagination, nothing was really there, but just the fact that I made the original assumption is a nice warning signal for me to step back and do some internal work. Good news is I've taken step one: awareness.

Hoping you have a wonderful day. I could use a little Sunshine in my life today. Could you use a little Moonlight? Meet me on the couch. ;-)

Me Strauss, thanks for those very loving and kind words. Much appreciated. I'm so glad you decided to stop by and leave a comment.

Your last sentence "As a writer, the thoughts of who might have made such things make stories come to my mind" is simply delicious. I can't describe it any other way. I think we all crave attention and the desire for someone else to care about us. We want others to find us interesting and your curiosity tickles that need in me. I needed a good tickle to start my day. Intended or not, thanks so much for that one simple innocent thought. :-)

Aggie, anytime my dear friend. I lost my dad last Novemeber and the feelings I had at that time are still fresh in my mind. Cherish the days you still have with your dad and may those days be as plentiful as the fruited plain.

Tree, your fractals are amazing! How did you do that? Mine looks like graffiti at best.

Saffron, if nothing else, I'm relentless on clicking and clicking and clicking until I see a fractal I want to work with. I wish I could take more credit for "creating" what you see, but the reality is I'm just dang persistent on trying anything and everything I can, over and over again until something strikes my fancy.

I would suggest going to the Apophysis site and taking the tutorials that are found there. The more you know about the program, the better you will get and the tutorials are very good.

Thanks for those very nice words--I'll take "amazing" and run as fast as I can before you want to take it back LOL.

You're improving with a bit more of light - that's good :)

I've got a pressie for you in my blog ;) Take a peek when you get a chance. I'm gonna make dinner now.

Trée said...

Christa, thanks. I'll run over to check that out now.

This one is REALLY pretty. Love it.

I'm at the couch, where are you? ;-)

Trée said...

A, sorry, I got distracted with work, but I'm on my way now!

Trée said...

Thanks Linny. It's like your eyes--beautiful. :-)

OK, good, don't sneak up, will you? I scare easily.

Scaring you was the last thing I had on my mind.

Ah, I see you now...
You're looking good, but how are you doing?

Trée said...

My next fractal will answer that question, as long as you can read French. I think the picture will speak for itself, but I've been wrong on that many times in the past. It's in render mode now. Give me about 15 minutes or so.

I can tell you this much. My life always improves with a little bit of Sunshine. ;-)

So sweet, you are. Looking forward to seeing the fractal. Am completely jealous of your skill at finding these images - maybe I lack the patience :-), or perhaps just an artist's eye for potential.
My favourite thus far is the Egyptian/Spanish treasure - just something very special about the pattern in that one.

Tree, this is pretty amazing, it makes me think of the way a snowflake must look when it's forming with all the different crystalizing patterns.

Great Stuff!

Trée said...

Thanks Dawn. It does have that crystalizing look to it.

Tree, I have tried my hand at this ... but I can`t seem to get the broader '' strokes'' ,the wider lines..
I continue to come out with smaller lines and sometimes a fuzzy scattered look.
Can you tell me what setting I might try to improve this ??

phred, go to the script tab and hit open. From the list of open files, go ahead and select Spiral Batch.asc to open. Once you do that, then click on the small green "forward button" and it will run a batch of fractals that will be a bit more complex than the normal batch from the main screen.

Good luck and have fun. Let me know if I can be of more help.
