Apophysis: Joyeux Noël, Chéri

Blame Holly for this premature xmas posting. Expect a return engagement in a couple months. :-)

Greeting cards have all been sent
The Christmas rush is through
But I still have one wish to make
A special one for you

Merry Christmas darling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream and in my dreams
I'm Christmas-ing with you

Holidays are joyful
There's always something new
But every day's a holiday
When I'm near to you
The lights on my tree
I wish you could see
I wish it every day
Logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say

That I wish you Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you

Logs on the fire
Fill me with desire
To see you and to say
That I wish you Merry Christmas
Happy New Year, too
I've just one wish
On this Christmas Eve
I wish I were with you
I wish I were with you

(Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas - Darling)

beautiful Tree!
I love that song, when I was young I used to sit and sing with the carpenters all day, wanting to sound like Karen.

Damn, I must be hormonal or something, reading that song just made me cry today.

Trée said...

Tears of remembrance and joy I hope. I had forgotten this song until Holly mentioned it on her blog yesterday. It's now on my iPod with a rising playcount. :-)

The Carpenters were always one of those groups that I secretly loved, although I would have never admitted publicly to that fact. :-)

Make Believe It's Your First Time; Top of the World; and, Ticket to Ride were always favorites of mine.

Thanks for putting the coffee on. :-)

mmmmm coffee is done, good on chilly morning :0)

I have this song on several CD's, it is one of my favorites.

Its just one of those days, check my blog later, if I can get it out on paper, it will be there

'We've only just begun' (hmm..is that the correct title?) is my favourite Carpenter's song.
More Christmas! :-) - am already in a Christmasy kind of mood, singing carols even and it is much too early. Nice fractal though, like lights glistening off the baubels between the tree branches.

Autumn that used to be one of my faves to (and yes thats the title) but after having to sing it at about 50 bazillion weddings, I just can't stand to even hear it anymore LOL

and I agree, might as well start Christmas now, everybody else has :0)

Trée said...

"We've Only Just Begun" is a great song. Should have been on my short list. :-)

Trée said...

Tracey, will do.

50 bizillon weddings. You have my deepest sympathies. :-)

Anonymous said...

ah well, always a bridesmaid LOL

at least every person I know has finally gotten married, so I don't do much of that anymore :0)

Anonymous said...

I find, here no-one gets married anymore. Well, except my parents - they only just got married in June and only because I went ahead and arranged the whole thing :-).

Anonymous said...

OMG. You just made me gasp outloud. Seriously.

My mouth is still wide open. I probably shouldn't say that to you. But that is meant in all innocence!

You made my day.

Merci, vous gars doux et charmant! Votre femme et tres heureuse!

Anonymous said...

We've Only Just Begun was the theme song at my 8th grade graduation. How long ago it twas...

Marriage. It is an odd call. I've been divorced and widowed. Now I'm in limbo land. Dunno what the next chapter is entitled.

:-)

Trée said...

Afternoon Terry. I hope your day is getting better. Tis, hard to leave a warm bed on a Monday morning.

Trée said...

Je devrai me rappeler cela. Espoir vous avez un lundi merveilleux. :-)

Anonymous said...

I'll be back in December ;)

Anonymous said...

I'll have to stick with the martoonies and some Frank Sinatra instead.
Beautiful fractal. Makes me want to decorate things. :)

Anonymous said...

Trée said...

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

Vous faites me rougir !

Trée said...

Oui, oui mon cher ange doux. :-)

(sorry, my bad...) i'm sooo digging this!
i should get out more often....
(wink)

Trée said...

Lisa, bienvenue ! Nous devrions célébrer votre premier commentaire. Champagne sur moi.

oh thank you for being so gentle Tree...! i guess it really was my first time...i was so trying to mind my own business, but this, this was too irresistable...i love the imagination fantasies...how very tres clever
and all that jazz....i can barely understand french so i was just making up most of what i totally couldnt understand between you and Holly...does that officially make me un voyeur? god, i sure hope so! oh i hadnt wanted to gush forth like this, but things never go how you plan, so its best not to plan...this is just one of the many dimensions, i reckon...and champagne on you? yummy, that will taste exquisite! sorry, i'm trying so hard to mind my manners....
anyway, thank you Tree, i just gush when i meet people of the mind....hello all your nice friends too. and Holly? joyeuse noel, baby!! (sorry, i'm gramatically challenged, but you get mon drift, non?) k, back into that shell now.

Trée said...

Lisa, you are very welcomed here. As far as the voyeur part goes, for the record, I love to be watched, so voyeur to your heart's content. :-)

Trée said...

Où mon bébé angélique doux est allé?

Anonymous said...

Lisa - You are so funny. My very first thought is I bet I know what cheeks he's talking about. As usual you can read everyone's minds!

Anonymous said...

Je suis desole. Je dormais rever de apophysis ;-)

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

desole = sorry...sorry...i was sleeping ..hard to translate without those accents, eh?

Trée said...

Translation software is soooooo picky. I need to rumage in the attic and find my old French dictionary. That would solve that problem. ;-)

Anonymous said...

Je suis desole..next time I will try to get the accents in, but in order to do that I would have to go to the translation sight...freetranslation.com and type it in..which means I wouldn't be getting any practice using what French I know. But for you...I will do anything :-)

Trée said...

But for you...I will do anything :-)

Anonymous said...

Holly! now look what you've done!
his heart is sauteed in batter!
OMG!! sometimes we dont realize
our own power!

Trée said...

Lisa, ROTFLMAO!

Does, Holly practice black magic and no one is willing to tell me? I hardly know the woman and she already has my heart in batter. :-)

Anonymous said...

well what a perfectly delicious place
for one's heart to be...!
yes, i do believe
Holly has a very special magic
that she brightens people's lives with.
perhaps she is too humble and shy
to realize just how much she touches
the lives of others...
and sometimes
its just plain old beautiful chemistry...
people weaving in and amongst each other
almost like those magnificent fractal light shows
that you weave into peoples
bodies, hearts and souls...

Trée said...

Awww, Lisa, that was awful sweet of you to throw that last line in there. Here's to Holly feeling better soon. She does spread joy wherever she goes doesn't she.

Anonymous said...

OMG YOU TWO! Funny what people will say over the computer! You two are so sweet...you know I love you Lisa...you are the best...and you know that already...And Tree...damn, you are not playing fair! And I'm sorry about your heart being sauteed and all, but better to be sauteed by me than another :-)

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

Vous êtes si doux, vraiment. Merci.

Did you realize doux translates as soft? But I'm thinking that's not entirely appropriate for you ;-)..so I mean sweet.

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

:-) (sigh)

Trée said...

Bonjour Holly. Espoir vous sentez meilleur aujourd'hui mon chéri.

Oh, and soft or sweet, I like them both so just take the translation you prefer. ;-)

Anonymous said...

good morning all you special angels, please forgive my intrusion again - just a little concerned here Tree....because Holly's feeling a little under the weather...now i know my french is a little rusty, but do you think its a good idea right now to do ballet in her bra and then hold her up to the sky like that? i dont know if that will help her dizzy spells...and that thing about climbing up onto her richness and setting fire to her eyes? i think that nature of activity is best saved for the longer weekends, n'est ce que pas? (i probably spelled that wrong) sorry for being a jewish mother here...its in my DNA
Holly? i love you too! hope you're feeling better today!

Anonymous said...

(and then tint your first role as a dancer, but only if his iron levels are high enough?)
i might be missing something here....
(geez no one ever offers to tint my rolls...)
actually no ones heart ever skipped a beat
sweeping my bra up to heaven either

Trée said...

Lisa, I'm laughing so hard I have no idea how to respond. :-)

I think you are right, I should be more careful with Holly in her weakened condition. What was I thinking. Don't answer that. LMAO

Thanks for making me laugh this morning. I love it!

Anonymous said...

You see! Isn't Lisa the best? Why just seeing her name in my email brings a great big grin to my face cuz I just know she's going to both crack me up and say something incredibly insightful.

And you? You just make me blush.

Feeling a tiny bit better...thanks so much Tree.

Trée said...

Anonymous said...

yes i think she would like to get you drunk too, Tree.. (isnt that...tanquiner - "to drink like a fish"...have i got the right book here??)
not to worry, she wont stop...and now that she knows that you like to be tanked, and you have recognized her talent for drinking excessively, sounds like this will be good for everyone's cheeks...

Trée said...

Oh, Lisa, you read me like a book. Would you like to join us for an after hours adult beverage or two. We could discuss heaven, your bra, dancing, your bra dancing, the stars, tanquery, more tanquery, sweeping, sweeping your bra to heaven, tinting, your rolls, more tanquery with lime this time, tinting your rolls. Please consider joining us. I think it would be fun. You know I would really like to remove a few of those, "never happened to me" things from your list. Do you have a few more by the way. :-)

Oh, and I almost forget. Your cheeks. Make sure you bring them, red if you got'em. Red cheeks, mmm . . .

more tanquery anyone?

:-)

Anonymous said...

OMG...I'm sitting here vibrating with giggles. Ya'll I'm supposed to be taking it easy, and you two, especially that last one Tree, have me almost crying.

Did Lisa finally put up a new post?

Trée said...

vibrating with giggles

You have got to be kidding me. I've made women vibrate before but never with giggles. I think this requires further investigation. Darlin' now just exactly where has this "vibrating" begun. We must stop it at it's source you see.

Anonymous said...

Nooooo!! Vibration all over is good! Trust me.

Trée said...

You had my trust from the word hello. :-)

Now, how do I get that vibrating thing going?

Anonymous said...

i have a confession to make...(no, i'm not a 92 year old male...) i guess i should add it to my list of "never happened to me"
it has to do with the dancing bra...(or was that the sweeping bra?) well it doesnt matter....
there never was a bra...
ever.
thats it...thats all i can say.
for now.

Anonymous said...

and thank you kind welcoming Tree for inviting me into fantasy land with you and your wonderful friends...i think you have some excellent key players already...besides i seem to prefer live interactions (they taste so good) and stand up...(comedy, that is...) well, one never knows how the wind may blow.

Trée said...

Lisa, you had me worried for a moment with that confession bit. Wipes sweat from brow . . .

I guess I could always fly to Canada. Any woman who can use "live interaction"/"taste"/"stand-up"/and "blow" all in the same sentence deserves special attention. And no bra to boot. Now you have my interest. ;-)

Anonymous said...

(no underwear either,
but i wasn't gonna bring that up)
hey, the older i get
the simpler i like my life to be.
do the words "no frills"
seem appropriate here?

stand up and blow....! geez, did i say that?!
(reminds me of a concert i did last week!)
never mind...that was then....
okay, i'm officially reverting back
to being mature again....
here i go!

Trée said...

I'm here whenever you want to revert back. ;-)

Anonymous said...

aw shucks, Tree...i dont know, you and your fantasy team already have a good thang goin'...maybe i'll stick to the areas i seem to feel more natural in (no, not stand up, it hurts my back) (wink)
