Apophysis: Mario Returns

Well, this work was commissioned by me for me. The angel of Mario, wings and all, has returned to protect our house from squirrels and wayward UPS men alike. Whenever Mario wanted to protect something in front of him, his legs would bow out just as you see them above. Nice to have the little guy back, if only in his angelic spirit. Peace.

Best lovingly illustrated representation of an angel, I ever did see. EW!

Bet you didn't know there were such things as canine angels did you. LOL

A, you are always so kind and giving with your praise. Please don't stop. ;-)

I love it :0)

Hey, I did too! I've seen the cartoon film 'All Dogs Go To Heaven' several times, I'll have you know.

I'm honest in my comments - I'll let you know, if you start turning out rubbish, for sure!

I love that. I knew there were Canine angels!! LOL

Sorry I haven't been around for a few days, I've been suffering writers block of the worst kind, and finally finished a story last night which has been posted over at The Feather Quill. I'm not at all sure what I think to it either :S

I might remove it. Anywayz, just wanted to tell you that I LOVE the fractal, the colors are perfect.

A, I stand corrected. ;-)

Dawn, good to see you again. Thanks for those very nice words. :-)

That you captured Mario's stance so beautifully is amazing. It is a comforting thought that he might still linger in spirit.

Right now I feel really dumb, for asking this, but I am going to anyway.

What is Apophysis?

Trée said...

Anna, Apophysis is the name of the fractal program that I use to create these images. I also use one called Chaoscope. So depending on which program I use, I always put the name in the title so everyone knows what was used.

Good question Anna. My guess is alot of others are also asking themselves the same thing.

Good to see you visit again and hope you find the answers you are looking for with regard to your own health. Not knowing sometimes can be the worst of the whole process. Thoughts and prayers.

Terry, I do find much comfort in the thought that he is still with us in spirit. If you ever saw him hunker down over a bone he was protecting from the other dogs, I swear it looked exactly like the bowed out legs you see in this fractal.

This one actually scared me. I guess the UPS guys would be afraid too!

A little joke for those actually reading the comments. Enjoy.

Husband and wife are waiting at the bus stop with their nine children. A
blind man joins them after a few minutes. When the bus arrives, they
find it overloaded and only the wife and the nine kids are able to fit
onto the bus.

So the husband and the blind man decide to walk. After a while, the
husband gets irritated by the ticking of the stick of the blind man as
he taps it on the sidewalk, and says to him, "Why don't you put a piece
of rubber at the end of your stick? That ticking sound is driving me
crazy."

The blind man replies, "If you would've put a rubber at the end of YOUR
stick, we'd be riding the bus ... so shut the hell up."

Wonderful to know that Mario is still sneaking about....even if he's doing it via that pc.
It's a wonderful likeness.

Great joke too. And right on time as always!

Aggie, how are you doing? Always good to see you post here. Been thinking about you and your dad. You know where to find me if you need me.

That's just beautiful Trée.
I'm sure Mario is always keeping an eye on you and protects you and your house from squirrels and other nuisances.
You've captured the stance just so perfectly.
It shows in the picture, I can feel how much you miss him.

(Israel is fine. I'm having a great time despite the news).

Trée said...

Thanks Melly, we all miss him very much.

Oh, that's so good I can even see the little doggy legs! I'm sure Mario would appreciate it, Tree.

Trée said...

Thanks Jack. I'm sure he would too.
