Thanks A. Sometimes I think they show up just exactly when we need them, but I like to think they're floating around all the time. The guardian angel concept was always one I liked as a child. Still like it today too! lol
That is beyond beautiful, and having the angels come by and all they did for your family is amazing as well. May Mario rest in peace, I'm sorry for your loss. *HUGS* He sounds like a special little guy and a large part of your family.
Karen, Mario was a one-of-a-kind dog. Never seen one like him before and I doubt there will be another in my life like him. I can't really find the words to convey the chrisma this little guy had but whenever he walked into the room, he was the absolute center of attention. I've never known a dog that had that ability.

k, you've been taking some private tutoring I see. I'm very impressed with how quickly you are progressing. We are gonna have some fun on that eight-hour flight to Denmark. ;-)
Yes, I think I might have the hardware you need. Just make sure the kids are in bed, this sort of training requires your undivided attention in order to bring the lesson to a satisfactory conclusion. Hang tight, I coming . . . over. ;-)
sweetbabyk, I just love typing that name, I'm on my way over with the proper hardware to interface with your current software. You'll be squealing like a pig with delight after just a couple manual adjustments. ;-)
k, after you open the program reduce the main screen to about 1/4 of your screen size. Then open the mutation window, the editor window, the adjust window and the gradient window. Just keep manipulating the various windows until you get something you like.
The best thing I did was go to the main website and work through the tutorials. Those helped me get up to speed rather quickly.
Let me know if I can lend a hand or provide you with any of my other tools to ease you into the program. ;-)
k, when you take the tutorials, pay special attention to running "Scripts." Scripts are like batch files that do some rather complex things with a single click.
Oh, k, play with the variation tab over and over again. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve just selecting different variations. Horseshoe is one of my favorites. ;-)
Let your imagination run wild and put those kids to bed. I'm on my way--lol.

k, once you have an image you like you have to "render" it. Just click on the little gear like icon (third from the left).
Once rendered, go to the location you selected for the saved file. Click on it and it should open the image. From there just save it into whatever photo software you might have.
I use Picasa2, which is freeware and, imho, very good. Once the image is saved, then I use blogger to upload it to a post.

Yes, Picasa is freeware too. Google it and you will find it pop up. I believe google owns picasa. I have several photo programs but Picasa is what I use to organize all my photos.
Getting the Picasa DL. Damn, I wish I knew someone as tech saavy as you are, you know, to help me with this stuff all the time, that way I don't have to bother you with tons of comments.

After you download and install Picasa, it will automatically search your harddrive for any photos. It's a very easy program to use.
