Morning Tubey. As always thanks for the kind and wonderful thoughts to start my day. I love the plate glass smooth water, which by the way is a "red wine" color. I did two other renders of this image, one with traditional looking water. That pic looked more realistic but not as peaceful. When I hiked in the Tetons I came across a lake with a mirror smooth surface, just like this pic. I have a wonderful slide of that lake with a perfect mountain reflection. The lake is so smooth, the reflection actually looks better than the real thing. That was an amazing morning. Have a great day sweetie. :-)

Afternoon Sunshine. I wish I could predict which pics people would love and which didn't capture their interest. This was another image I almost didn't post, or was going to put it over at Trebuchet. So glad you liked it sweetest of sweet ones.

Interesting avvy you've got there. Had to enlarge it to make sure it was or wasn't what it appeared to be. You never fail to amaze me. All the best to you my luv. Have a wonder filled weekend. Both you and M. :-)

Ciera, just close your eyes and let your imagination take you there. Candles optional. Good to see you again. Have a great weekend. :-)

It looks so peaceful, what I wouldn't give to be relaxing on that boad at this moment.

Sherri, you and me both. In fact, I kinda like the sound of that. I'll bring the carrots. You bring the bunnytail. :-D

Sounds like a plan to me! :D

Trée said...

Excellent. I like your attitude. A good attitude will get you all the carrots you could possibly want young lady. Just bring your appetite. :-)

I wouldn't even try guessing, since we all like different things, you'd just go bonkers and they are all good anyhow :)

Thank you for the wishes for the weekend, hope the same comes true for you, xxx

Beautiful! So Peaceful looking..aaahh.."Serenity Point" sure looks like a place I would love to go to for a while to get some nice well deserved R&R! Oh how I wish..sigh..

Nice reddish reflection on the water. Not so sure about the rocks though, they look rather sharp / painful :)

Anonymous said...

Tree, the reflection is amazing!
But something seems a little odd with the boat, it appears a little out of proportion, a little too big compared to the mountain...just a feeling I had.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to all!!

Trée said...

Saffron, shortly after I created this one I had the same feeling. If I had to do it again, the boat would be smaller. Thanks for your feedback Saff. :-)

Trée said...

Thanks Jenni. The red wine colored water picks up the setting sun very nicely. Who would have thought. :-)

Trée said...

Hi Rhi. So good to see you again. I too would love to have a little R&R in such a tranquil place. Maybe soon. :-)

Again, the familiar and the alien. We know the place, yet it's completely foreign to us. And that little boat there, waiting, empty. Did it bring a person to the island or did it just drift there. From where did it come? And where's the person that was on it?
Fantastic!

Trée said...

Oh Melly, you hit the nail on the head. When I look at this image all the same questions come to mind. Is the boat a metaphor? Why is it there? Where are the people? Why does the water have a reddish tint? Is this earth? Is it real or someone's dream? Half the fun is just looking and letting the image take us away to places we would never perhaps otherwise have gone. :-)

The time is 5:50 p.m. Saturday night.
I can't access my own blog pages so I thought I'd try yours...only to find that this morning's post is missing.
I'm at a loss.

"Are we on?" (taps microphone) "Is thing thing workin?"

Hi Aggie. Blogger has been acting up the last few days. I don't think anyone has been able to access any of the blogspot blogs for most of today. Hon, which post are you referring to as missing? I certainly don't want to miss anything you might have posted my dear sweet sexy blogger babe. :-)
