Thanks Christa. I'll know in about 12 hours just how good my weekend is gonna be. :-D

Hope you are well and thanks for stopping by.

Simple and complex, and at the same time :-) Beautiful.

This one was inspired by James' "I Really Want You." And in less than two weeks you will get to see it performed live!

Seven more hours and we'll be setting up the equipment. Oooooh, I can hardly wait. :-D

I know! Can't wait to hear the song :-)

& I'm so excited for you!!! :-D Who ya gonna call.

Sunshine, if "I Really Want You" was out right now, I'm not so sure it wouldn't replace Cry as my fave. What is interesting is when you read the lyrics you don't really see anything special. But when he sings it, well, it becomes something very different and very wonderful. Wish I could be there in england with you just to see your face the first time you hear him sing live. Now that would be priceless. :-)

I Really Want You

I really want you
I really want you
I really want you now

Many prophets preach on bended knee
Many clerics wasted wine
Through those bloody sheets
On those cardboard streets
I have wasted time

Are there silver shores on paradise?
Can I come in from the cold?
I killed a man in a far away land
My enemy untold

I really want you to really want me
But I really don't know if you can do that
I know you want to know what's right
But I know it's so hard for you to do that
And time's running out as often it does
And often dictates that you can't do that
If they can't break this feeling inside
That's burning up through my veins

I really want you
I really want you
I really want you now

No matter what I say or do
The message isn’t getting through
And you’re listening to the sound
Of my breaking heart

I really want you
I really want you

Is a poor man rich in solitude?
Or when mother earth complained
Did the beggar pray for a sunny day but
Lady luck for rain

They say a million people bow and scream
To an effigy of gold
As so life begin
And the ship we're in
And history unfold

I really want you to really want me
But I really don't know if you can do that
I know you want to know what's right
But I know it's so hard for you to do that
And time's running out as often it does
And often dictates that you can't do that
If they can't break this feeling inside
That's burning up through my veins

I really want you
I really want you
I really want you now

I want you (x12)
Now

I really want you to really want me
But I really don't know if you can do that
I know you want to know what's right
But I know it's so hard for you to do that
And time's running out as often it does
And often dictates that you can't do that
If they can't break this feeling inside
That's burning up through my veins

Must be heard to be appreciated.

I imagine reading the lyrics for any of the other songs that I know and love without having heard the delivery - would be the same, so shall most definitely be paying complete attention when he knocks this one out :-)

Really cool image, and the title is so perfect!

Trée said...

Thanks Deb. In this image, which is quickly moving up my favorites list, I see two lovers, eyes locked, completely absorbed in each other. The image looks great when viewed large with Firefox. For whatever reason IE doesn't display the image quite as sharp.

Beautiful! You have captured a sense of lightness and freedom in this piece. Great colour choice too.

Trée said...

Interesting but rather uneventful. I think we are going to do another investigation in a month while keeping an eye on any other reported activity. Was a great bday present. :-)

Something to look forward to, always a good thing. :-)

I like the aura between the two halves.

Oh, wow...this is truly beautiful. If the term "Twin Flames" or "Twin Souls" has a visual, this is it. All that energy, passion, mirroring.

Lovely! You were very inspired on this one!

Thank you Grace. :-)
