I'm always amazed that often the smallest things make the greatest impact. I saw an old friend and they mentioned a kind word uttered twenty years ago and how much it has meant to them, a word I didn't give a second thought to when said. I too wonder how many of my words lie on the other side of that fence and twenty years later, likewise, are still remembered. A single drop raises the sea. A single spark can destory an entire forest. Be that drop. Raise the sea. No contribution to Love is too small.

Wow. That was awesome.
And I love the fractal, too!!!
Thank you my dear cancer fighting friend. :-)
Too often we don't tell others what their words or actions meant to us. It take so little effort. This is a lovely post.
Peace...........
Gorgeous fractal, very!
I imagine that was a nice feeling :-) Knowing something you said helped someone else.
"A single drop raises the sea. A single spark can destory an entire forest. Be that drop. Raise the sea. No contribution to Love is too small." Well said!!
Good to have you back - hoping you had a fantastic time, can't wait to hear about it :-D
Thank you Helen. When my dad passed away about 18 months ago, and I stood by his bedside in the days before his passing, hoping, waiting, praying to hear the words he was never able to utter--"I Love You son"--the power of just a few words, or lack thereof, hit me like never before. I've learned the lesson, unfortunately the hard way.
Thanks as always for stopping by. Your comments are always welcomed and appreciated. Heck, just knowing you are stopping by makes my day or night as the case may be. Peace Helen.
Yeah, I have a list in head of people I wish I could see again. Folks who hardly knew me, who said something that I needed to hear at the right time. I can't even imagine that they remember me or my name. . . . I'll never forget them.
Sunshine, my review is in the comments on the post below. Aim my way and I can give you additional details if you like. Oh, and good early morning dear. Did you enjoy the coffee? :-)
Liz, my memory bank has "moments" branded into it. Little things said by people who probably don't even remember saying them. Many have shaped my way for good or bad. Thanks for stopping by. Your visits always warm my heart. Makes me feel important, worthy of your time. I'm honored Liz. :-)
That is amazing Tree. Little things we take for granted can have a deeper impact than we imagine. I was told of something last year that rocked my world. I know I'll remember it till the end!
Thanks Chicky. I have a whole list of things that people said that I still remember many, many years later. My guess is the folks that said it don't even remember, but for me, the impact has been literally life changing.
Isn't it the truth sweetie?!!
*Kiss* ;-)
Hey Y. Always good to see you stop by. :-)
No contribution to Love is too small.
There are no words that are more true than these. Thanks Trée
You're welcome Deb. Hope you and Wontar are having a great time. Looking forwards to seeing some great pics. :-)
what a beautiful post...this is the kind of divine 'contribution' that keeps me coming back for more...thank U TRE!
Keshi.
Keshi, my dear angel, your comment warms my heart. It's a gift you have my sweet. Thanks for giving. :-)
Sweet dreams when you get that far and thanks for your trouble :-)
I have thought on more than one occasion about the power of Your words. You don't just speak, you touch the heart. I suppose we all do and that is not always a good thing. But your words are so touching and sweet. I, for one, am grateful for them. ~hugs~
Oops, I forgot to mention that the fractal is beautiful. It reminds me of a butterfly. A brilliant butterfly.
Sunshine, you are more than welcome. Glad to be of service. :-)
Oliviah, I can't think of a better way to start the day than to wake and read a comment like yours. Thank you so very much for those wonderfully kind words sweetie. Very much appreciated. :-)
Hi Sweet Man.
Incredible to learn that we are though of, isn't it? Particularly when the thought is a nice one.
20yr old words.
I am reminded that every word we say to a child lies on the other side of that fence....for their whole lives.
The fractal is gorgeous. It has the glorious depth to match the thought.
Have a wonderful Monday.
Simple truth. The power of a few kind words can make an everlasting impact on someone, we just may never know, and yet the beauty in that is they know...in their heart, they know.
Meg, so good to see you again. Hope you had a great weekend. Love is such a simple thing and costs so little to give, so it makes one wonder why so many are so reluctant to share a little. Who among us would not want more love in our life?
Hey Aggie! I do so love having you stop by and visit. I've got a few words I'd like to send your way--all nice of course. :-)
Have a great Monday sweetie and thanks for those very kind words. Always appreciated.
Beautiful, lights,darks and colors here.
Hope you had a good day - dream sweet when you get that far. :-)
Tree, how very true. A little word can bring tonnes of kindness or tonnes of hurt. I try and be nice unless the other party totally irkes me. Basically, it doesn't cost us much to say a kind word. Why don't some people understand this?
Great post! Love the fractal, very touching post.
You're absolutely right! I still think of the kind things that have been said to me in years past and they do mean more than the person saying them realizes them.
Karma calling ya here...hello hello hello :)
Keshi.
Nope, no more. Need you back here asap!
xo
:-)
This post was the perfect introduction to your site: concise and true.
I'm seeing the power of this relationship karma more and more as the Internet grows--finding people I never dreamed I would see again.
Jason, thanks for the links and the very kind words. Much appreciated.
Liz is a jewel isn't she. :-)
Hey Sunshine. I'm back from the road and it is good to be home again. Poppet is very excited he was missed. :-D
Tired and exhausted, but excited. :-D
Keshi, you do make me laugh. Are you still sailing away or has your ship come back home yet? If still sailing, let me know destination and I'll join you. After the last couple of days I need to get away. :-D
Thanks Linny. Always good to see you visiting. :-)
Hey Sherri, I've been saving up the carrots waiting for your return. I'm slapping myself that I was out of town when you dropped by. They're still fresh if you want to come by again. :-D
Saffy, that is a great question that I have no answer. Let me know if you figure it out.
Thanks DJB. Always glad to have your feedback on an image.
Sunshine, do I need to get the coffee ready? :-)
:-)
Welcome home, missed ya tons!
Dream sweet. My coffee's improved whilst you've been away :-), I'll have some ready and waiting in the morning.
DUHHH Tre I just sailed and reached the shores of Franklin, Tennessee, US - if there's a port there ;-)

Keshi.
Ahh, that's where I missed you. Tennessee is landlocked. :-D
No worries, I'm pretty good at tracking people down and I don't think I'll have any problems finding my angel. You kinda stand out with those wings you know. :-)
Coffee was excellent my dear. Thanks for thinking of me and missing me. It is always good to be missed. :-)
**Tennessee is landlocked

Come a little closer Keshi dear, in this case, I don't mind doing a little dusting. That's it, just a little closer. Promise, I won't bite. Well, not too hard at least. :-)
**That's it, just a little closer. Promise, I won't bite. Well, not too hard at least.
