A few posts back I mentioned that James had sung GML on guitar in Atlanta. The song is recorded and normally played on piano. The guitar rendition gives a whole different emotional landscape, especially when played acoustic as it was in Atlanta and as it is in this video.Well, I found an outstanding video of GML played on guitar, which was done in the Star 98.7 lounge and comes with a three part interview and YB. Enjoy.

Sunshine, when the video comes up, right click on it and then click on properties. On the properties box you will see location. Cut and paste the location into Windows Media Player and you will be able to watch this video at full screen, which is much better than the small window on the official site.

Just watched it again. Who else right now is playing with that emotional intensity and integrity? There is no way you can sing this song the way he does, literally thousands of times as he has, without a true depth of integrity. Just amazing. I'm at a lost for words. As Tube might say--Wow!
Went straight off to watch, but I'll watch it again on the bigger screen. Can I just say: Bliss!

I worked all morning trying to figure out how to capture that video. Once that was accomplished I did my happy dance and life was good again. :-D

Oh gosh, but he is amazing, isn't he! Feel like I've been falling under his spell at a steady rate since the first time I heard him some time last year, more and more with every listen, and now I'm just well and truly entranced, destined to remain so forever :-D.

Sunshine, if I was able to bring a smile to your face and a little joy to your heart then my day is complete. I can't tell you how excited I am that we were able to capture that video to watch over and over again. I think this footage has risen to the top of my list and just short of the DVD.
Heading back to the store since I didn't get everything everyone requested. Add another reason for making the most of my bday present again tonight. :-D

I know it doesn't seem that way, that life is moving quickly and certain decisions need to be made sooner rather than later, but write this down and meditate on it--Time is on your side. Afternoon Sunshine. Today is backup day. All files to two different hard drives. I'm a bit anal about losing data and files, since I know how much it hurts to do so and now that all my music and my photos are on my computer, well, backing up just must be done.
Beautiful day here. C is watching the World Cup. He is completely absorbed in all the drama. Amazing when they grow up playing soccer how they develop an interest.

Beautiful day here too, height of summer, so we were out all day making the most of it - amazing what a difference the weather can make, winter time its all about getting back inside as quickly as possible, summertime its a real shame to be indoors.

The software I have for backing up my files is a "one touch" affair. I just press one button and it does everything else.
Now, doing the images is a little different because I have to remind myself exactly how to do them correctly each time. Most of the time I just rewrite the whole image rather than doing an incremental. Takes more time, but eliminates a step for me where I could make an error and it keeps the image to a single file and not multiple files, which always scares me if they would indeed mesh correctly if I ever had to use the image.
Enjoy this beautiful weather. We're going look at a couple more houses this afternoon. Wish me luck or wish me mercy. I'll take both about now. :-D

Sunshine, have you seen the new music video for Wisemen? It's the one where he is in the forest and playing with fire. The first Wiseman video, which is on the DVD, has him in a club.
