Thank you Sweetest. By the way, your fantabulous reviews at the cafe have been featured and noted on the Writing home page. You should have seen how big my smile was and is. :-)

This is interesting, being able to pick up a part of the story to read. How did you do it?

tree: Love the carousel, really well done. As a relative newcomer to the blog it gives me a chance to read your selected samples of what's come before. There's some real talent in a number of the posts I've read. Thanks again for offering the selection in such a creative way. ~Greg

Greg, thank you for the very kind words. Although it helps to know the story and what is happening, I've always tried to write each post such that there was something of value in and of the post itself. I've maintained the argument, that as least in this story, plot is secondary to the creative joy of 'just writing' for the sake of love of language, the sound of words and how, a few words can paint and move and touch someone. At last, few people seemed to read the way that I write, most sadly thinking they must start at the beginning--something I publicly state is neither necessary nor desired.

I'm glad the carousel has given you a chance to taste the story. The widget, courtesy of the Writer's Cafe, allows one to have 20 icons revolving at any one time, so as I add new chapters to the cafe, the icons you see will change. Of course, it's probably time I wrote a new chapter too. :-D

Your philosophy of writing the posts, as you expressed it above, is that of a true poet.

Greg, it took me almost two years to accept the label of writer. It may take two more for me to accept the idea of poet. But, I suppose, it is what it is, and what I think about it really matters not. Thinking is just thinking and it tends to sit on top of everything else like it was king. Sometimes I just get tired of the arrogance of thought. :-D
