Layering the Cake
This is what we do; layer the cake with our own sweet creations. and I wonder of the cake, clothed without a say, I wonder if they wonder was I not good enough
I very much like the way that this poem, the metaphor, could be applied to a number of things, in other words that it is dynamic and might show itself to have different significances depending on day, mood, status of whomever is reading it. Without being able to explain exactly why, there is something about the part that reads with our own sweet creations that just, in regards to the melody of that particular combination of words, that is (to adhere to the theme of the words) mouth-watering, sweet never sounded so intense, something to do with the vowels as they meet the ea of creations. You may not know the mechanics and need not, but I think I'd best learn fast, so that I may stand a chance at explaining exactly why your creations are so, well, sweet. Great piece!
This is very good. I like it a lot, and not just because I like cake. Now I am hungry for cake. No kidding. Do you listen to Springsteen? "Spirits in the Night" from his first album. "...I had my head out the window and Janie's fingers were in the cake, I think I really dug her but I was too loose to think, I said 'I hurt,' she said 'honey, let me heal it'..."
Knew the title was 'Spirit' after some thought in the shower, but I had trouble remembering the opening lyrics. When I looked in my anthology of his songs, I learned that I made another mistake. He was "too loose to fake" not "to think." Sometimes he sings with a drawl, and I speak with one. Also, I never fake, but I like to get too loose to think. ;-)

It's called a sweet tooth and you have one. :-D
Of course, it doesn't help that I'm a pastry chef.

Bel, I know that song. Been awhile since I last listened, but many fond memories there. :-)
