A blind basker recently won a singing competition. Even from the start of the competition, his voice had touched the hearts of many, and one of the comperes tears up whenever he sings. His win takes nothing away from his fellow talented contestants, but he certainly touched many hearts with his courage and perserverence.
Aha!!!! For once my computer is playing nice with your blog. It has not kicked me off once!!!
The quote was very touching and very true...I just wish we could get that out to more of the world.
Fortunately, we've found out that my grandparents in Mississippi are alive and their house managed to stay together for the most part. They have no food, no water, no electricty...etc. but they are alive. My parents drove over there this weekend w/ a Generator and various supplies.

Yeppers....
Its only with my eyes closed tight that I cant see the daylight. Its only with my heart as stone, that I'm not able to feel love.
Its only one hand reaching for me that I choose to grasp that opens my eyes; and so goes my heart. If only.
I haven't been here for awhile...but I am sorry for your loss and everything you and everyone has gone through. **hugs**!
