What are you doing posting when you should be out riding, getting ready for that new Sachs??

:-]

I enjoy the sketches -- Painter is fun software and a tablet means there's another corner to explore.

Good question. Actually, with my Tigers winning yesterday, the tournament has taken on a new significance for me. Amazing what George Mason did today. If Florida can hang on, it will be sweet to have two SEC teams in the Final Four.

The tablet has been fabulous. I wouldn't even attempt a sketch without one. The technology Wacom puts into these things is nothing short of amazing.

If Richie is still on time, I should be about three months away from my dream bike. I better start thinking about paint color. :-)

Lovely sketch. Its great to know that not only can you write well, you can draw as well :)

You draw too???
This is a beautiful drawing. I love skethches. I think they can sometimes reveal quite a bit more.

Look at your talents growing! Wonderful sketches and fractals.
Missing you terribly. Did love the piccie of Dad and Son. Good to have those pics around. Take many many many more. :D

I'm hanging in. No worries.
Love and hugs to you dear one.

Melly, I can't really say I draw. I picked up a Wacom tablet a couple weeks ago and decided to use it to sketch some visual life into my characters. First sketch I've ever done in my life was Grandma Kyra. Tilting head Kyra was the third and I believe this one of Trev is the fifth.

I'm just having fun. The thread that runs through these drawings and the fractals and the characters is the same as the main thread in the story--love. I just love playing and the sketches are just another manifestation of that love. Take the love away and everything else goes away too.

Have a great week Melly. :-)

Welcome back Tubey. Hope you are all bronze and relaxed after a week on the beach. Good to see you again. :-)

Aggie, thanks for the update. I have been quite worried about you. Please keep us updated with any new developments.

Thanks for your very kind words on the sketches and fractals. As I mentioned to Melly, I'm just having the time of my life doing things I've never done (writing, drawing, fractals, 3D). I can't tell you how exciting it to discover a new interest, to do things I never ever envisioned myself capable of doing. Five months ago, if you told me this story and all the images would exist, I would have asked you what you were smoking.

I've been missing you terribly too. My blog is just not the same without you my dear. :-)

I like the big eyes and square jaw!

A Wacom tablet...I don't know what that is, I am gonna have to do a google search and find out! My hands haven't been steady enough to sketch with my pencils for several months, wonder if this might be a potential outlet for my sketching itch. Hehee, just noticed I was "thinking outloud". :0

Chicky, Trev is, or should I say was, quite the surfer on Hyneria. I'm sure there was some chickybabe walking those beaches who had dreams about our medical student of the waves. :-D

Say...just noticed, Trev looks a bit like you!

Oliviah, Wacom makes the best tablets in the industry. The technology in the pen blows me away. Not only that, but the tablet came with Painter Essentials 3, Photoshop Elements 4 and several other software additions. But the tablet lets me do things a mouse never could.

After just a couple weeks of having mine, I find it's as important and essential a tool as my keyboard or mouse now. I think that much of the tablet.

Trée said...

Awww Oliviah, that is awful sweet of you to say. :-)

Truth be known, Trev was inspired by a male model I took from a magazine. The guy was selling skin care products and had a towel around his neck, which is why this sketch of Trev looks like he just came out of the shower.

Did you hear that Chicky, Trev just came from the shower. :-D

I couldn't get the comment in the last post to work. Beautiful frac, I love purple!

We have to have hope or we have nothing. Is it really that bad?

Have a great day and HUGS to you and Jack!

Trée said...

Thanks Karen. Purple is perhaps becoming my favorite color. Love the royal, regal sense to it. A color of dignity, of tradition, of honor. And a color that just looks great on an LCD monitor. :-D

Thanks for the sweet kind words. From Jack and I, have a great day. :-)

Anonymous said...

It sure does look excellent on an LCD. Gorgeous.

Trée said...

Thank you my dear. :-)

How did you know when I read the part about the shower, I was going to react and have another perve??

Next, you'll tell me he's got a six pack! ;)

Chicky, that is classified info at the moment. Let's just say we are working our way down. :-D
