Stunningly good reading of Integrity Fallen, thrilling and dramatic, vivifying words already vivid. As you reached your signature, I realized, I was holding my breath.
Thank you Sunshine. These are first readings and as such, are what they are. I would, with time, like to do additional readings and, in my mind, envision doing a single reading of all the poems in this series from start to finish without stop, with commentary, just a straight reading from beginning to end. As always, thank for the very kind words. :-)
Your readings sound so professional, with melodic bookends and warm, flowing, confident voice, there is something very special about hearing, and I know I have more than likely said as much before, words written, words that have been read, read by the person that penned them, voiced in the voice that heard (/created) them, as reader one feels so very privledged. The touch is deeper still. The distance smaller. And the admiration, and the pleasure, greater. Wonderful reading of With Fisherman's Eyes
I want to do these over for two reasons. First, to get them right. They are close, but the 'first readings' are never quite as I would want them to be and I am reminded that reading, even one's own work, is a skill and my skill is often lacking; second, these were recorded using my snowflake downstairs in the very open living room and the sound is not as warm and rich as when I record upstairs on the snowball. In listening to my older recordings, I'm amazed at the difference those two microphones have on the recorded voice. So, stay tuned. Perhaps I will do single readings of each chapter first and then come back for a single go, start to finish.
For reasons of being the last (thus far), and another not waiting and simple for itself, it drew together the thoughts that took precedence when listening to the other two readings and highlighted the things that I failed to mention but had intented to. Atmosphere, tone, this may end up sounding trite, but in your readings you enhance that which was in the words written, which cannot be an easy thing to do so naturally and completely, though the words be yours. To turn Rog's words around a little, as one listens it is clear that you commit with heart not mind, you read as though nobody was going to hear it, as though you were writing it right there and then. If that makes any sense. To put it a slightly different way, but not better, one is aware that this is you, reading to read. Nothing to do with the writing or the reading, rather the overall impression, as image contributes mood, feeling, so too it struck from the opening sequence of notes that this particular choice of melody seemed written for what was to come. It sounded wonderful (sound quality, tone, etc) from start to finish. Professional. Intimate. You have these mastered. Loved listening, thanks for sharing, look forward to more. :-)

I hope you do, and with commentary I am already getting excited at the thought that this may be a record-breaking minute count. :-)
