Just listened to the whole album (Sweet and Wild) and there is not a bad track, assuming of course, you like Jewel. A little more country than her early work, but not over the top. The deluxe version covers every track twice--once in production and once again acoustic. A very nice touch since her songs beg to be sung and heard with her voice front and center.
Horses were made to run And the sun was meant to shine above And flowers were made to bloom Then there’s us We were born To love We were born To love So did you say it Did you mean it Did you lay it on the line, did you make it count Did you look ‘em in the eye & did they feel it Did you say in time Did you say out loud… oh Cause if you did Hun Well then you lived some And that feeling inside It’s called satisfied
Wes, I'd like to think the natural state of existence is 'love.' And that when we are out of love, we are outside of the natural flow of life and experience all of the according pain one feels when one is outside of what should be. In other words, I really like that lyric of the song too. :-D

I really loved the lyrics.
me too
especially the last stanza:
Horses were made to run
And the sun was meant to shine above
And flowers were made to bloom
Then there’s us
We were born
To love
We were born
To love
So did you say it
Did you mean it
Did you lay it on the line, did you make it count
Did you look ‘em in the eye & did they feel it
Did you say in time
Did you say out loud… oh
Cause if you did Hun
Well then you lived some
And that feeling inside
It’s called satisfied
Those were the very words that touched so. :-)
"We were born...to...love"
She had my attention prior to that, but that is the one that resonates with me.
The beginning of the video...a beautiful woman, eyes close, breathe expelled...is there ever a more sensual vision!
