I will miss staying up late for three weeks straight just to get a glimpse of Lance Armstrong in the Tour. My life will never be the same. Will never forget him.
So funny you say that as I'm watching today's stage for the fourth time as I did almost all the stages this year and last year and the year before that when I discovered OLN.
Sadness at the conclusion of his last race has set in.
Thanks for stopping by. You have a great site. My husband has got me hooked on Lance and the Tour deFrance, so I enjoyed all the info on your site. Also the great photos. I was touched and saddened by the story about Amy Gillett - Wow. What a beautiful life and future she would have had. I'm glad you commented so that I could discover your blog. I'll be back.
PS. by the way, if you put the "Blogroll Me" button on your site, it's easier for people to add you to their blogrolls, which I am going to do. Go to www.blogrolling.com if you want to get the button, or use the service for your own links.
I can only clap my hands thinking that such athlete with such will is very very rare. He made History that will stay for generations to come. Thank you for yr visit and comment in my http://homem-ao-mar.blogspot.com

I agree. I didn't even care about the Tour de France until Lance Armstrong came along.
He's one of those rare atheletes that change the landscape and becomes larger than the sport inself--although many would argue otherwise.
To watch him mature over the last 12 years as been remarkable. The Tour is so hard, yet he, like all the greats in any sport, made it look so easy.
Yes... He did!!
