Purpose

What's your purpose? No, not for your life, career, family nor this year, month, week, day or even the next hour. What is your purpose in this moment, right here, right now?

Quote of the Day

"People are like stained glass windows. They sparkle when the sun is out, but when it gets dark they only shine if there is a light from within."

To enjoy.

Loving the frac!

Thanks Sunshine. I did this image many weeks ago and my first impression was to use it with Kieran and Trev in the operating room. This was going to be Trev using some sort of medical device to isolate the virus and effect a cure of some type. Ahh, but the story took a different direction. I do like the way the pinchers lead the eye to a single point of focus.

Enjoy! :-)

To make some renders with my newly installed copy of Vue 5 Infinite :D And to enjoy the fact that I've been discharged today. YAY!!

Great fractal as usual :D

Christa, you are going to absolutely love Vue 5. I've been lusting after Infinite so I can't wait to see what you produce.

Glad to see you going home. Take care and have fun and don't forget to post your renders. :-)

That's a beautiful frac! (Sorry my words are not of substance today, I'm just so brain dead!)

Oh and, before I forget - thank you!

Leigh, thanks for taking time to visit. I can appreciate those times when work is so busy there is just no time or energy to do much else. You are a sweetheart and I meant everything I said. :-)

Trée said...

Leigh, I'm grinning from ear to ear right now. I just checked iTunes and they now have both Nine Million Bicycles and Just Like Heaven availible for single download. Thank you so much dear for introducing me to these two fabulous songs. I will forever think of you when I listen to them. :-)

awwwww, I'm so glad you liked both those songs. I love them both for very special reasons.

Glad they make you smile!

There's another site called allofmp3. It's really a good site for downloads and it's quite popular. It's not the same format as iTunes, but it's still good quality downloading.

Thank-you so much for meaning what you said, it's appreciated. Have a lovely evening! :-)

Oliviah, I think of you often and wish you the relief you seek. You are such a bright soul and I feel no matter how dark the night, your stained glass will always have a glow.

To give.
To receive.
To love in spite of myself.
To leave a stain, beautiful or not.

I read once, regarding reincarnation, that we are here to fulfill a karmic purpose...each life creating and changing our karma. The next life to build on this one.
I read that this life ends when our purpose has been completed. (regardless of the length, short or long - momentary even)
So, it is not within my ability to know my purpose. I can but follow compassion and kindness in hopes of raising my karmic place in the next life.

Deep, huh? ;)
Hugs to you, beautiful soul.

There is a good chance, that if you study fractals, you will come to know the DNA of God....now, that sounds like a good start. Nice to see you here, Tree.

Trée said...

Bonita, good to see you visiting again too. Fractals as the DNA of God. Never heard it put quite that way before. Food for thought.

Trée said...

Oh Aggie, is that lap still availible? When you talk like that I just go all gooey inside. Do you think you could run your fingers through my hair while you tell me some more? :-)

Keep that calmness on ice. I could be that way sooner rather than later. :-D

Trée said...

Keshi, you get the gold star award for answers--perfect my dear.

Now, as for the lyrics/post, I am totally embarassed at mistaking your thoughts for the lyrics of a song. Either way, those beautiful words reflect the beauty of the soul that wrote them.

With each visit, my dear angel, I feel that bond grow just a little stronger. Feels good too. :-D

To just be here now. Every moment is just another moment with no real purpose. Your fractal is inspiring.

Trée said...

Cav, thanks for stopping by and thanks for the kind words on the fractal. Hope to see you around again.

To make someone's life better because that person knew me.

To have tea and cookies and a leather chair nearby for the guy who makes beauty.

Trée said...

Liz, I can testify you have done that with me. Twenty years from now, I will still remember you and your writing and your wonderful caring soul.

Now, for some tea and cookies and perhaps a story or two. :-)

Beautiful frac! I hope you and Jack had a great weekend. *HUGS*

Trée said...

Chicky, you seem to be inspired most days. Just reading your blog and the wonderful craftsmanship you put into each post inspires me to be a better writer.

Trée said...

Meg, much peace to you. And I promise, whenever I'm in Kentucky, I will drive the posted speed limit. :-D

To surf blogs and discover new people, new thoughts, new ideas...

Manjusha, sounds like a plan to me. In fact, sounds like what I do too much of the time. LMAO! Thanks for stopping by. :-)

My purpose today has been simply to survive without killing any of our employees.

Anonymous said...

Hope you succeeded, Linny :-D

Anonymous said...

hey thats ok. I guess alot of ppl got confused cos I put the current MUSIC title at the bottom in my posts now :):)

Keshi.

Anonymous said...

My purpose in this very moment is to be simply and completely aware.

Anonymous said...

Right now, this second, this minute, this moment, appreciating your fractal. Nothing more, nothing less. Sheer appreciation of beauty.
'Nuff said.

Trée said...

Saffy, you hit the nail on the head. Washing dishes to wash the dishes, no more, no less. Of course, with your Buddhist background, both you and Keshi grew up understanding what I was trying to say in this post. Thanks for sharing. Your comment is a wonderful way for me to start my day. All the best to you. :-)

Trée said...

Travis, welcome to my blog. Utter simple and complete awareness in the moment. Well said.

Trée said...

Keshi, your words were so lyrical and beautiful that when I saw the musical notation at the bottom I simply thought you had quoted a song. Thanks for being so kind and understanding. :-)

Trée said...

Afternoon Sunshine. Hello Linny. :-)

Just thought I'd tell you that Vue 5 Infinite gives a real kick.
Buy it if you have a computer that can run it, coz it's worth it :)

I will probably get stuck tonight again in the middle of some village that doesn't exist on any map ;) It's fun and relaxing.

Trée said...

Christa, I've got Vue 5 Esprit with the biotanica add-on. I've been itching to upgrade to Infinite but I keep telling myself I haven't even begun to stratch the surface of what Esprit offers. Plus, I hear rumors that Vue 6 is not too far away, but in the world of software that could mean anything from next month to more than a year away.

You're doing some incredible renders with Vue. Just gorgeous stuff and I love it. :-)

Anonymous said...

To be here, right now... Great post sweetie! ;-)

Trée said...

Thank you Y. I know from your poetry that you have the ability to be completely in the moment. That ability, interests me in you above all else. Or perhaps how I see you using that ability I should say. :-D
