Oh I must agree wholeheartedly. Never really know what you've got until you see it full size.
Well sweetie, the little dancing stars are calling my name. Now that I know you are safe and sound I can rest easy. Sweet dreams darlin' and I'll see you tomorrow. :-)
Wow! There are two elements in this that captured my imagination. The first is related to real time events and a place that brings back some beuatiful memories for me.
1) The Abbey: The Abbey reminds me of a place in Yorkshire called Fountains Abbey. It is truly a beautiful place. Take a look at the link:
http://www.fountainsabbey.org.uk/
2) The trees are taking on an almost zen like quality/feel to them. It suggests balance and peace.
You're work is rapidly going into another dimension. Have you heard of MOCA? (Museum of Computer Art) Some of the artists are good - but your work is better than some well knowns on the site. Take a look at the link:
http://moca.virtual.museum/
I think it's time for you to start thinking about selling your work (Some artist fetch $90 for one commission) Or you could always make a book? Here's another link for you to consider:
http://www.lulu.com
I showed a friend of mine your artwork, and he said some of it could be used as album/cd covers :-)
I wonder what you could create thinking of cycling? ;-)
Keep up the good work - it's truly beautiful. Hugs to you :-)
I'm speachless. Over and above! Please do check out those links from Leigh, they sound awfully promising! - this stuff is just too, too good not to share with a wider audience - the groupies were saying that weeks back and you've been improving and delighting us anew ever since, I can't even begin to imagine what we will be seeing in future - that's the most wonderful part of it. Happy Sunday, x
Leigh, I'm speechless at how wonderful it is to wake up and read such an incredible comment first thing in the morning. I will check out those links. Can't say I had heard of any of them before and your leading me in that direction is very, very much apprecicated. I need to figure out how to do roads. Once I've done that, all bets are off on the cycling images I could do. I am a huge fan of Graham Watson and his cycling photography, especially his scenic shots with the mountains as a backdrop--those are my favs.
Bravo again on your ride. Be very careful riding that long in those temps. Always turn back sooner than you know you should. Frostbite seems like such a silly thing but on a bike in those temps if you get caught far from home and push too hard--well, just be careful dear. I like you just as you are. :-D
Thanks Justin. This image took more time than anything I've done so far. I had a tough time deciding on the light and atmosphere. I came very close to doing a night scene with a dusk blue and purple sky, mauve fog and the abbey filled with point light and spot lights. Might still render that one just for the hell of it. Thanks again for stopping by and for the wonderful comments. :-)
Sunshine, I need you by my side as my personal motivator. :-)
Vue has such depth to the program and I've hardly even scratched the surface of what one can do. Still, everything starts with an image in one's mind. As long as the images continue to come to me, you guys will see them here. Thank you dear sweetest of the sweet ones woman with just a touch of wicked naughtiness. :-D
Morning Tubey. How do heart-shaped pancakes sound for breakfast? Got some fresh squeezed OJ too and just a couple slices of apple smoked hickory maple bacon--center cut of course. :-)
Gotta agree with Leigh and Autumn, you really do need to do something with these Trée, they really are amazing, and its not just the groupies who think so :0)
Every new piece that you do is just more breathtaking than the last, I love watching the pictures in your mind come to life.
Morning sweetie. Glad you liked the breakfast. Made it especially just for you darlin'. I did sleep well. We got about a half inch of snow. More of a tease than anything else. Sure does look purdy though. Any big plans for today? I could always stop by if you've got some more papers to grade. :-D
You are so welcome. I hope you didn't mind my suggesting those link - but I do think your work is incredible.
I've heard of Mr Watson! His photography in the cycling world is fantastic.
Before you become famous *wink* I wanted to ask you a huge favour regarding your work. Could I email you? Is your email address the one that appears when you make a comment on my blog? (Hope you don't mind my asking in the open like this.)
And don't worry about frostbite and my cycling, I'm a tough little thing and I enjoy the challenge. ;-)
Leigh, yes most certainly you can email me. And yes, it's the one in my postings. Oh, and I'm very appreciative of the links, no worries there my luv. How's the bum today? :-)
Thanks Liz. I'm having so much fun with Vue. I just have fallen in love with the depth of this program. I especially love the variety of lighting options, which I have hardly begun to fully understand and use. As always my friend, your visits here brighten my day. Thanks again for the kind words. :-)
that MOCA site was killin'! its incredible the vast quantities of talent that ooze from human beings...it just blows my mind...! i picked about 10 faves from the contest entries, and it was interesting to see that judges picked all this kind of dark metallic kind of stuff instead...i guess that stuff is uber popular these days...i'm so attracted to colour even tho the self expressive elements in some of the darker stuff is mighty heavy...but Tree, your stuff is way up there in terms of what i saw on that site...i know that site was not representative of all art, but there is something in your soul, an element that you bring to this work that gives it a therapeutic, healing quality...i believe it is like an exchange, this stuff that exudes from you...that even tho it may help your own healing, it also unlocks doors in the hearts minds and souls of those you touch with your art, and helps people to get to places they might otherwise not get to...its pretty potent. i believe you sense the potential of what you are doing here, even if that is not your main motivator...in fact, its as if this stuff is painting you, in a way. well, you know, not painting but, whatever the force of this stuff is, it has taken on a life of its own, its growing out of itself, and your instincts are in alignment with it and it is propelling you wherever you or it needs to go...its kinda sweet.
ps. you've sure got some incredibly supportive loving friends around you here...
pps. cd covers! yes! incredible idea! we scrambled at the last minute to pick off some images to stick on the cover of my son's last cd cover...it was cool and all, we superimposed a kind of city at night skyline into a silhouette of a photo of him playing the horn, but i have a feeling you could bring an incredible energy to the cover of an 18 yr old pretty darn good jazz trumpet playah's next cd....just a thought! (thanks to Leigh's suggestions!) perhaps at some point, we could speak of the possibilities of this, if you are open to it....! what a great business to start, too! xo lisa
Lisa, your comment touches me in so many ways I don't know where to start. I think you have put into words better than I could the essence of many, not all, but many of my images. I seek peace and joy and love and compassion above all else in my life. Those concepts form the foundation of how I would like to see the world, interact with the world and exist within this world. Many times my life is not these things and this blog and these images and the story (if and when I ever get back to Kyra and Zeke) and all the other stuff here is much like notes to myself, reminders of things I know, things I think I know, things I would like to know but know I don't know yet. If you read my blog, read between the lines, I think you will see me and know me better than those I interact with on a daily basis in real life.
I've been blessed with the friends who grace this blog with their love and kindness. I thank the stars everyday that my path has crossed so many wonderful souls on the blogging journey. I never imagined I would find such an incredible group of unbelieveable friends. Yet, here we are and I feel very blessed. They encourage me, motivate me and inspire me not to mention educate me and guide me and show me such love and kindness. I find much joy in those friendships and playfulness.
As far as the CD cover art, when the time is right I would be more than happy to make an attempt. I'm humbled and honored you think enough of these images to suggest such an idea. Thank you Lisa.
I love this place. Pulled it up larger, and saw the lovely details of the mist and stonework. I'm delighted about the website suggestions from Leigh - I hope you really do explore the possibilities of publishing your art. I'm such a groupie you know ;-)
Terry, I saved a couple pieces just in case I had an unexpected guest. Come grab a seat. I'll make you some pancakes too.
These images look so much better when you enlarge them. And, keep in mind you are looking at a compressed image that was uploaded to blogger. The images here are about 10% of the size of the original image. I wish you guys could see them in their original format on my large screen. They look like completely different images, if that makes any sense.
As always Terry, thanks for your kind words. Always much appreciated. :-)
Terry, if you guys keep pushing I guess I'll have to do something just to get ya'll off my back. :-D
Let me get a little better first. I have much to learn. Oh how I would love to take a sabbatical just so I could throw myself in all these programs, not to mention photoshop, which I haven't been using with the Vue images.
Thanks sweetie. What color would you like your pancakes? I've got some heart-shaped forms for the pancakes so I was thinking red. :-)
Oh Tubey, wine is the worst hangover. The only thing that really works is a very long and very gentle head massage. With educated southern fingers of course. :-)
The original images with Vue are around 3.5 mb of bitmap data. By the time I compress them to jpeg and upload them to blogger they are usually closer to 300kb. Looking on the screen, you can't really tell that much of a difference, but when it comes time to print, well, that's a whole another story.
Trée, just the thought of a massage of any kind with those educated southern hands makes my eyes glaze over, and my mind wander to much better places LOL
but when it comes time to print, well, that's a whole another story ok so I know I am stating the obvious here, but just another reason to get them into print my dear :0) (and no, we really aren't ever going to let this go LOL)
ROFLMAO hmmm how to answer that question LOL lets just say I have yet to find anything that takes me out of high gear :0D If I am breathing, its pretty much all good ROFL
i think when people express themselves in any of the arts, they are often expressing and revealing the stuff that is "between the lines" - perhaps it is just a more socially acceptable way of releasing this true stuff that resides within us...wouldn't it be cool one day if it were socially acceptable to just be ourselves as we really are...? wow, there's a concept...
most of my life when i encounter people, i tend to see their "between the lines" stuff as the real them, and their surface as somewhat of a candy coating, more often a coverup for the tender person residing within. call it a gift, call it a curse, it's the way i see. so your "in between the lines" stuff has always been the "you" that i have seen, Tree, even without having met you in person... i think art is a beautiful medium for giving light to these worlds we would prefer to be existing in. (music, writing, dance, etc., as well.) it brings a feeling of realness to these worlds, it gives us hope that there is a possibility that we could go there someday. our imaginations give us permission to visit these places more often. funny thing about the mind...it may be what got us into all this trouble in the first place, but the truth is, it is also the thing that can deliver us back to ourselves...all we have to do is agree to let it go. when the endless thoughts die down, what is left, is our true light, the essence of who we really are, at the core of our being. and it is such a magnificently simple and comforting discovery, that we no longer need to pad ourselves with these fabrications of our minds....we are enough as we are, we are perfect as we truly exist... or so i've heard!
Lisa, there is so much wisdom in your words. I need to read them again and let them soak into my saturated brain. As Trace and Autumn have said, your comments are so wonderful to read, your insight touches a place deep inside, and your humor always a gift. Thanks for sharing so much today.
Until a couple months ago the word artist and my name were never mentioned in the same breath. To see that link mentioned by many on this blog and to think that many who only know me here see me that way is taking time for me to absorb and understand. The only thing I can say is the feeling is comfortable. I feel a sense of ease and lightness in this part of my life and I thank all of you guys for shining the light of awareness on what you see here because without that light I don't think my own mind would have ever gone there, for many reasons I've mentioned before. When I come here it is with a profound sense of gratitude. Not sure how else to describe it.
Wow, so peaceful. Trée, you are a pro at this in such a short time.
Did you check out renderosity.com for free downloads? Or, did all those wonderful objects come with the program? They are very detailed, and you use them in such a wonderful way.
Deb, I did check them out. I downloaded a few textures. Vue also has a list of sites that support the program. Everything but the Abbey in this pic is a part of Vue. The Abbey was a download from another site.
Thanks for your kind words. I had a lot fun creating this one. :-)
Lisa - I just read your comments. Your words are so eloquent and insightful. I so agree that the between the lines stuff is the real deal. Thank you for bringing this idea to the foreground.
Deb, the Abbey is the work of Luca Rodolfi. Has has several medieval buildings for free download and many more for sale. The Abbey is part of what he offers that's free. His website is: www.rodluc.com/
thank you guys, Trace, Autumn, Tree, Deb, everyone, really, for such sensitive comments. wow...most of the time, i feel like a goof, so maybe this is just a magical place or something, where our inner goodies can be recognized and accessed and nurtured! see Tree? what magic emanates from this special world you have created here?! i guess no one should underestimate their ability to empower themselves, or others, huh? anyway, its true, we're all here, just waiting to finally discover ourselves...why stop now? Tree, funny how life can just make a sharp turn out of seemingly nowhere, and this whole new surprising side comes out of you, but i have a feeling it has been there inside of you forever, just needed a few key ingredients to coax this beauty to the surface, so even you could see it...! and as you say, it feels so comfortable, so familiar, almost as if some part of you knew it was always here, waiting in the wings for just the right time to make its appearance in your life again....and it seems to have an energy all its own, and there is no question in your body, mind, spirit, that this is where you want to be right now...it is almost effortless, as you fall happily in and amongst it all, and it brings you closer to that peace, joy, compassion and love that you were speaking of before...you just need to stay open to it...for it is already guiding you...it's neat. i wish i was that open....i think it must just be your time, Tree, for all that has occurred in your life, this is finally taking you to that place you have always wanted to be in, to exist and interact in...it has switched on a great light of possibility for you now, bringing in to your life "all those things" you have finally given yourself permission to receive...
Lisa, your last comment fits around me like a warm blanket. I can't explain what exactly is in your words or what is between them but I just want to wrap them around me and let them comfort me. Thanks you for such a gift.
i really do understand what you mean, Tree. that's rather sweet. actually, thank YOU, for helping me to access this stuff...i just kind of had a line in today, doesn't happen often, or for very long, but it did today... i just kind of felt connected to the stuff you were experiencing, that's all.
get cozy in that nice warm blanket, and just breathe in all that you have manifested for yourself, and all that you envision...and watch it ripple back out into your world, into this wonderful place you have created, with your peaceful, caring, loving heart. xo
Oh Lisa, do you have a direct line to my heart tonight. Imagine me lying on the floor at your feet, my hands creating a pillow for my head as I gaze up into your storytelling eyes. I feel like a kid listening to the family storyteller and I'm enthralled! :-)
i would never sit above you i would only lie beside you.... but, as you can see from my blog, there is a slight chance you might expire waiting for your next story! (not that i feel any pressure to write or anything!) it was a sweet visual anyway! (the storyteller to the kid...) i think i may be better at improvising tales than actually writing one down that i've tried too hard to compose.... anyway, sweet dreams y'all! xo
Oh Jack, just go back in time. There was a roof and the whole bit. Maybe even Catherine visited this place before her faithful rendezvous with the wheel. ;-)
oh Daddy, i am more reverent than i seem... (well, most times, anyway!) Tree, i think i'm back out of my body again this morning...(i like to visit it once in a while, tho....) so back to clamming up for a time, i reckon. hey, y'all, full moon tonight! xo
LOL I don't, at least not if I pull too many late nights in a row :0)
its called enough caffeine to kill a mule and no teaching only prep today so I can barracade myself in my office and pretend to be productive LOL
The company was worth the late nite and all the sleepiness in the world, and I thank you for that, I slept very well for what I did sleep and thats a good thing :0)
have a great day, I'm heading back to looking busy LOL (hugs)
thanks sweet Tree... actually, i always visit here, often several times a day, almost an automatic habit now, but i dont always jump in... does that make me like, a voyeur? (i hope so!!) (wink!) xo
A little tired but otherwise much to be thankful for Sunshine. That Tubey is just wearing me out. Not sure I can keep up with the little energizer bunny. :-)
Trée, you need to invest in the earlier Melua album, its much better than the new one - lots of mood music, smoky blues club type music, wine, darkness, just gorgeous - and there's even one track that is impossible to sit still to, but a real 'slinky dance' type of song. Loving it :-D
LOL it wasn't that late :0D and you got more sleep than I did, and I don't need no stinkin nap ROFLMAO
(actually I have passed tired, and am now moving on to delirous LOL)
seriously, sorry about the late nite but if its any consolation, you made my nite and my day pretty much too and for that I am very grateful my friend :0) Tubey aka the energizer bunny ROFL thanks you very very much :0)
I have Lilac Wine and The Closest Thing to Crazy off that album. Really really like Closest Thing to Crazy, especially that one lyric about feeling 22 and acting 17. I just melt at the sound of that voice. And the eye candy, wow. :-D
'Call of the search', 'Crawling up the hill' 'Faraway voice' and a little less 'I think it's going to rain today' & of course love 'Closest thing to crazy'
I write fiction and poetry and sometimes poetry within the fiction but not always, fiction, not always within the poetry. Currently, I have three ongoing series: (1) The Story of Kyra, an exploration of love; (2) 1944, The Story of Mary, an exploration of grief from the loss of love; and (3) the KKB series, a medieval epic rendered in lyric verse. I hope you enjoy your stay. Comments are encouraged, appreciated and always warmly acknowledged and engaged.

The Story of Kyra is written in a mosaic format, poetic prose, an acquired taste. Each chapter (post) is like a tile and not always laid in linear or chronological order. In other words, The Story is not written as a book, has no real beginning or end and the plot is secondary to the internal (psychological) examination of the characters and their actions. New readers are encouraged to read the Who's Who (linked just below under Story Stuff) and pick up The Story from the current post. Starting at the beginning (first post--26 Nov 2005) is not recommended. Enjoy.

oh Trée, that is wonderful, the details, the muted colors, the mist hugging the ground, has a very ethereal quality about it, just wonderful!
damn you are good LOL
Mmm, I like the sound of that. Fault number one likes it too. LAMO thirds the motion. :-D
Thanks sweetie. This one really looks good when you enlarge it. Enlarging is good. I'm all for it you know. :-)
This one really looks good when you enlarge it. Enlarging is good. I'm all for it you know. :-)
LOL of course, can never appreciate anything fully until its enlarged, its really the only way to get a good grasp of things :0D
Oh I must agree wholeheartedly. Never really know what you've got until you see it full size.
Well sweetie, the little dancing stars are calling my name. Now that I know you are safe and sound I can rest easy. Sweet dreams darlin' and I'll see you tomorrow. :-)
sweet dreams my luv, and restful sleep (hugs and kisses)
Hugs to you :-)
That's absolutely incredible - it definitely has 'sanctuary' written all over it!!
good morning darlin :0)
breakfast sounds absolutely divine :0)
sleep well? more snow? :0)
Gotta agree with Leigh and Autumn, you really do need to do something with these Trée, they really are amazing, and its not just the groupies who think so :0)
Every new piece that you do is just more breathtaking than the last, I love watching the pictures in your mind come to life.
Hope you have a great Sunday
(hugs)
And don't worry about frostbite and my cycling, I'm a tough little thing and I enjoy the challenge. ;-)
Have a lovely Sunday!
Trée,
best breakfast I've had in forever :0) (and just looked out the window and we got snow too, just enough to make it white, so pretty)
I actually have mountains of grading to do today, probably going to be an all day job :0D
stop by anytime, can always use the help, just remember the proper attire for grading is expected and always appreciated LOL :0D
Leigh, yes most certainly you can email me. And yes, it's the one in my postings. Oh, and I'm very appreciative of the links, no worries there my luv. How's the bum today? :-)
Yes, proper attire is what attracted me to grading in the first place. :-D
:0D
Oh my, I go away for just a minute and look what magic you do! These are go gorgeous I sent your URL to my son. He thinks they're fabulous too.
Bum is mighty fine - but it aches lol! Knees ache, legs ache, everything aches heheh.
Email on way, thank you!
Thanks Liz. I'm having so much fun with Vue. I just have fallen in love with the depth of this program. I especially love the variety of lighting options, which I have hardly begun to fully understand and use. As always my friend, your visits here brighten my day. Thanks again for the kind words. :-)
Leigh, your email just arrived. Running off to see what is on your mind. :-D
that MOCA site was killin'! its incredible the vast quantities of talent that ooze from human beings...it just blows my mind...! i picked about 10 faves from the contest entries, and it was interesting to see that judges picked all this kind of dark metallic kind of stuff instead...i guess that stuff is uber popular these days...i'm so attracted to colour even tho the self expressive elements in some of the darker stuff is mighty heavy...but Tree, your stuff is way up there in terms of what i saw on that site...i know that site was not representative of all art, but there is something in your soul, an element that you bring to this work that gives it a therapeutic, healing quality...i believe it is like an exchange, this stuff that exudes from you...that even tho it may help your own healing, it also unlocks doors in the hearts minds and souls of those you touch with your art, and helps people to get to places they might otherwise not get to...its pretty potent. i believe you sense the potential of what you are doing here, even if that is not your main motivator...in fact, its as if this stuff is painting you, in a way. well, you know, not painting but, whatever the force of this stuff is, it has taken on a life of its own, its growing out of itself, and your instincts are in alignment with it and it is propelling you wherever you or it needs to go...its kinda sweet.
ps. you've sure got some incredibly supportive loving friends around you here...
pps. cd covers! yes! incredible idea! we scrambled at the last minute to pick off some images to stick on the cover of my son's last cd cover...it was cool and all, we superimposed a kind of city at night skyline into a silhouette of a photo of him playing the horn, but i have a feeling you could bring an incredible energy to the cover of an 18 yr old pretty darn good jazz trumpet playah's next cd....just a thought!
Say, any bacon left? Breakfast sounded wonderful!
Love to join you - you know when I was a kid my Mom let us put food coloring in the pancakes for Valentines Day and St. Paddys Day... fond memories.
I think you really are going to publish your stuff, and be famous. You really really should.
The images here are about 10% of the size of the original image. I wish you guys could see them in their original format on my large screen.
well then I think you just need to have us all over for a viewing :0D
(tubey says as she wanders through the kitchen looking for more food to ease her wine headache LOL)
Have a sip of my cointreau orange juice fizz - should help :-D
Terry, if you guys keep pushing I guess I'll have to do something just to get ya'll off my back. :-D
Let me get a little better first. I have much to learn. Oh how I would love to take a sabbatical just so I could throw myself in all these programs, not to mention photoshop, which I haven't been using with the Vue images.
Thanks sweetie. What color would you like your pancakes? I've got some heart-shaped forms for the pancakes so I was thinking red. :-)
works for me :-) make a few happy faces too.
Absolutely Terry. Anything else I can get for you sweetie--on or off the menu? I do aim to please. :-)
Trée, just the thought of a massage of any kind with those educated southern hands makes my eyes glaze over, and my mind wander to much better places LOL
but when it comes time to print, well, that's a whole another story
ok so I know I am stating the obvious here, but just another reason to get them into print my dear :0) (and no, we really aren't ever going to let this go LOL)
Have a sip of my cointreau orange juice fizz - should help
Ter,sounds wonderful, pass one this way LOL
So how does alcohol affect your libido? Just needing to fill in a few places in my notes. Pen and paper ready . . . :-)
Lis, you really should come out of hiding more often my friend, you always have the most wonderful things to share with us (hugs)
Lisa - so good to 'see' you and to read your wonderful comments, you put it all into words perfectly :-)
i would never sit above you
i would only lie beside you....
but, as you can see from my blog,
there is a slight chance you might expire
waiting for your next story!
(not that i feel any pressure to write or anything!)
it was a sweet visual anyway!
(the storyteller to the kid...)
i think i may be better at improvising tales
than actually writing one down
that i've tried too hard to compose....
anyway, sweet dreams y'all!
xo
Lisa, you have my attention. I'm all ears, side by side, to hear whatever you've got to say.
But there's nothing left! Couldn't she put up a thatch roof or something! What if it rains! :)
Watch out for Lisa, sise by side. she might whisper sweet somethings in your ear. Greet work in this. Put another Bryce in for you.
Oh Jack, just go back in time. There was a roof and the whole bit. Maybe even Catherine visited this place before her faithful rendezvous with the wheel. ;-)
DJB, on my way to check out your work. I've got my eye on that sweet musician. :-)
good morning darlin, hope you have a great monday (hugs)
Trace, I don't know how you get by on so little sleep. Top of the morning to ya.
oh Daddy, i am more reverent than i seem...
(well, most times, anyway!)
Tree, i think i'm back out of my body again this morning...(i like to visit it once in a while, tho....)
so back to clamming up for a time, i reckon.
hey, y'all, full moon tonight! xo
LOL I don't, at least not if I pull too many late nights in a row :0)
its called enough caffeine to kill a mule and no teaching only prep today so I can barracade myself in my office and pretend to be productive LOL
The company was worth the late nite and all the sleepiness in the world, and I thank you for that, I slept very well for what I did sleep and thats a good thing :0)
have a great day, I'm heading back to looking busy LOL
(hugs)
Lisa, we'll be here when you get back. :-)
I enjoyed it too sweetie. Now go be innocent Ms Tubey. :-D
Hey sweet stuff, hope you have a Happy Monday!!!
Monday - yes. Hava happy...
I'm trying
thanks sweet Tree...
actually, i always visit here,
often several times a day,
almost an automatic habit now,
but i dont always jump in...
does that make me like,
a voyeur?
(i hope so!!)
(wink!)
xo
Oooh, I like voyeurs. Watch all you want. :-)
Hey Terry, hope your Monday is going well.
A little tired but otherwise much to be thankful for Sunshine. That Tubey is just wearing me out. Not sure I can keep up with the little energizer bunny. :-)
That is just plain gorgeous, bbb.
Oh, my goodness, Trée. This looks like an image out of a fantasy tale. Amazing!
Thanks bbb. Gorgeous like you sweetbabyk. :-)
Thanks Melly. I really enjoyed creating this one. I like the sense of peace and serentity in this one.
Hey darlin....nap time? LOL
hope you are havin a good day (hugs)
Oh how I wish. :-)
Trée, you need to invest in the earlier Melua album, its much better than the new one - lots of mood music, smoky blues club type music, wine, darkness, just gorgeous
- and there's even one track that is impossible to sit still to, but a real 'slinky dance' type of song.
Loving it :-D
LOL it wasn't that late :0D and you got more sleep than I did, and I don't need no stinkin nap ROFLMAO
(actually I have passed tired, and am now moving on to delirous LOL)
seriously, sorry about the late nite but if its any consolation, you made my nite and my day pretty much too and for that I am very grateful my friend :0) Tubey aka the energizer bunny ROFL thanks you very very much :0)
Sunshine, what is the name of the album? I do so love her voice. Like Blunt, it just has a very unique quality to it.
Tubey, I had a ton of fun last night. Well worth staying up a little later. We'll remember our lives by the moments time felt suspended. :-)
'Call of the search'
of=off
I have Lilac Wine and The Closest Thing to Crazy off that album. Really really like Closest Thing to Crazy, especially that one lyric about feeling 22 and acting 17. I just melt at the sound of that voice. And the eye candy, wow. :-D
Tell me what else you really like off this album?
'Call of the search', 'Crawling up the hill' 'Faraway voice' and a little less 'I think it's going to rain today'
& of course love 'Closest thing to crazy'
Sunshine, I'll have to give those a listen. Thanks for the heads up.
Another beautiful piece of art, my dear!
Why thank you dear. Good to see Mario on the boards.
Mario is always nearby...in fact, his daughter is laying beside me on her stool taking a snooze!
Its nice to see dad and daughter pics together again. I think Frankie has worn her out. :-)
Love it!!!!!!!!!!! :-) *HUGS*
Thanks Karen. I really like this one. Lot's of peace in this image.
Yes, VERY peaceful... I wish I were there right now ;-)
Me too. I'm working hard to be able to visit these places in my mind, even if just for five minutes.
