Tyler Hamilton: Tainted or Untainted?Tyler Hamilton, one of the world's premier cyclists and a 2004 Olympic gold medalist, is currently serving a two-year suspension imposed by the United States Anti-Doping Agency. His suspension comes at the peak of an international crackdown on the use of performance-enhancing drugs in sports, which in turn has sparked a furious debate over the fairness of testing methods. The point of interest in Hamilton's case is that some forms of blood testing have become so extensive that they could be condemning innocent athletes. Following on the heels of the Tour de France, REAL SPORTS correspondent Frank Deford, collaborating with Sports Illustrated, joins Hamilton to go over the highs of winning a gold medal, the lows of testing positive for blood doping, and the question of what comes next.
