Props for my Mom! What a Great Job!!!

Since my mom joined our team on 25 April 2005, her computer has generated 126 results returned to the scientists at Oxford. That is simply an outstanding contribution to our team, and more important, to the fight to find a cure. Mom, thanks so much for being a significant part of our team. Posted by Hello

Mom, your laptop has done an outstanding job in producing results. Every bit helps. A number of folks on our team are either in a fight with cancer or have someone in their family fighting the disease.

One of our teammates, Nate LeJuene's wife Tiffany is in a hard fight with the disease right now. She is only 25 years old and they have two young children. Nate lives in Louisiana by the way.

I got a message this morning from a friend of mine in Wales whose step-sister, Ann, is in a brutal fight with cancer but we are afraid she is going to lose this fight. Doctors give her 6 to 9 months to live. Tommi is a member of another team on the grid and he and his wife both crunch for the cure.

Your effort is giving hope and comfort to people around the globe that you will never meet. Thanks again for joining us in this fight for a cure.

Oh, I spoke with Sherry last night and she gave me an update on the events of yesterday. Very sad indeed. When you have a moment, email or call me with Calvin's phone number.

If you talk to him before I do, tell him I'm thinking of him and he is in my thoughts and prayers.

JC,

Thanks for the post. She is a great mom and we are lucky to have her on our team.

Mom, JC has done more to build our team than anyone else. Without his efforts I would have never learned of this effort. He lives in Colorado and is one of our great teammates crunching away and working hard to spread the word so that others like me who had never heard of this research project can join us in the fight.

We might not help those in the fight today, many of which will lose their battle, but our efforts today may very well lead to a cure for our children and their children. With that thought in mind, we crunch on in a battle with a relentless foe.

Thanks again JC for taking a few minutes to post here and mom thanks again for being a part of this great team.

Welcome to the team mom! ;) Like Mr. Tree said, every little bit helps. Well the word little shouldnt even be in that sentence. Everything helps. NO such thing as a "little" bit.
Welcome!

Nate, thanks for stopping by. You are right, every little bit moves us forward so no matter how much or how little cpu time someone can devote to the cause, its all golden.

Come join this great team today. All welcome, all needed.
