skin and bones
I have bones had them all my life shy bones never broken never spoken never seen so close so integral yet, forever clothed within my exhibitionist skin
Truly love this poem. Beautifully creative, and yet as few - and fewer still as well as you - are able constructed upon an idea that is both innovative and uncomplicated. A metaphor, and it was long since established you are the master of composing these, in flourish, incredible delivery. The last three words, as part of the poem as an entire piece, are positively thrilling. Once again you seem to encapsulate everything lovable about language, about expression, in just a few words. This poem makes me think of Kyra.
I've been thinking of Kyra too, hoping she comes back into my life and allows me to wade into the depths of her essence. I do miss her very much. Thank you Sweetest for the very kind words. :-)
