Erin, a good friend of ours, Julie Evans, took the photo. I'm sure she doctored it in some way, but I'll need to ask. Candace is a pretty woman, extremely photogenic. The wedding photographers asked if she was willing to model while they were shooting the wedding. Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure she is smiling somewhere. :-)
Limes, what comes with youth often does not come with age and what comes with age is often absent in youth. I've always preferred the advantages of age and I think I always will. Some things just take time to master, to appreciate, to enjoy or even to know or see. It is these things, the look in an eye, the touch of a hand, the whisper in an ear, the softness of flesh pressed that pulses with the geography of adversity. There is beauty in all this. There is beauty in you. I see it in your posts. I see it in your eye. I know it from your words.
That is one of the loveliest written pieces I've ever had aimed at me. I thank you. I needed a little of that today. I'm going to go choke up a little.

Did you treat that photo? Did you take it? Good Lord, I am still. She/it is gorgeous.

I wish I felt as gorgeous as she looks.
Oh Limes, I've seen your pictures. You are a gorgeous woman!
But - alas - not a 20-something bride!
Trée, your Candace, her gown, the setting, the photo ... sigh, each of them, exquisite.
S., it was the best day of her life.
The wedding, I meant. :-D
