Welcome teemie #83! Mishelle your enthusiasm is so contagious. I'm putting you on my list to call more often--LOL. Thanks so much for joining our fabulous team!
Hey Mishelle, thanks again for joining this great cause. Everyday I read posts on the grid forums from folks who have moms, dads, sons and daughters that are fighting this terrible disease.
I also see where they find some measure of comfort knowing there is a community that cares and a community of individuals willing to do what they can to stand beside them in this fight.
We're not scientist, but we can answer the call of major research universities and donate our spare cpu cycles that would go unused otherwise. I thank you for being one of those willing to help.
Remember, if you have more than one computer in your house, you can run the device on that computer too and sign it up under your name. Download the device for that computer just the same as you did for yours. When it comes to sign up the username, look to the top of that screen and you will see a box to check "if you are an existing member." Check that box and follow the instructions and that computer will show up under your name and the points and results will likewise show up under your name on the scoreboard.
The points are just for fun, but they do help keep us interested and competitive while doing some good at the same time.
