Fallin' To Pieces

On your lonely, lonely nights
Pray you sleep tonight
Pray just a little
When every little thing
Starts fallin' to pieces

  3. Thanks Tracy. This one works for me because it doesn't work. I don't like the image and I don't like fallin' to pieces, so in my mind the two go together. The image is messy, and so is fallin' to pieces. The image has a sense of the wheels coming off, a sense of being out of control, a sense that things are going to get worse before they get better. I feel all those same things when my world feels like it's coming apart.

  4. Jan, so good to see you again my dear and it's not even HNT--lol. I have to tell you, you are my favorite HNT blogger babe. :-)

I feel that *sigh* all the way down here. Uttered a few of those myself over the last few months. Is it Thursday yet? ;-)

thats exactly why it works for me, I've seen that picture in my life before, and the lyrics fit it perfectly.

  8. LMAO, yes I'm fine. I believe in embracing the whole, which means the good and bad equally, because both imposters entertain me with their dance of illusion. Besides only one who know darkness can truly appreciate the light, non? No strangers in my house. :-)

Really like the colours and there is 'symmatry even in the chaos'.

  13. Exploding peacock, oh my, if I had only thought of that first. Reaches back to find the wind-up thingy on the back of my head. I'll be back after I get my brain cranked back up. :-)

    Morning Sunshine. :-)

  14. thats funny, Autumn...(well, not for the peacock,) but my initial thought was that it reminded me of a bird that got sucked into the engine of an airplane...i'm sorry, not to take away from the beauty of life and art here, it just kind of crossed what's left of my mind...

  15. Oh I'm going right out and buy that album!!! I think Rob wrote what I was trying to write last night.
I might be borrowing this fractal. It feels a lot like me.

    Reminds me of a joke:

A length of twine walks into a bar. The bartender points to a sign above the bar: 'No Strings Allowed.'
The bartender snarls, "Can't you read?"
"But sir," the twine protested emphatically, "I am NOT string, I am twine!"
"Same difference!" says the bartender, and hurls the poor twine into the street.
So the twine stepped into an alley, where he tied himself into a sheepshank and unraveled his hair, thoroughly mussing it.
When he walked into the bar, the bartender said,
"Hey, ain't you the string I just threw out?"
The twine replied, "I'm a frayed knot."
