Apophysis: Purple Iris

  1. That's gorgeous!
Sorry. I didn't hear you knocking. I was hiding in the inner depths of my pc, attempting to delete as much as possible. That's a long, hard thing to do with so few CPUs. "Delete"...wait 60 seconds or so.."click OK"...wait 60 seconds for the refresh...do it again.
I finally gave up and took a nap.

  2. Thanks Aggie. I'm having more and more fun with this program the more I use it. Looks like you are too. :-)

That last fractal you did was magnificent!

Nap, well, you could have invited me. I'm a big believer in naps. ;-)

  3. When I created this image I saw two things: (1) an eclipse of the brownish moon like structure moving in front of the purplish moon although if you look closely the two objects are connected; (2) I saw a alien spaceship finding harbor by docking to this asteroid like station.

Then, bam! I'm sitting and just mindlessly staring at the image and I see an alien eye. The green and purple as iris with the brown the surrounding facial structure.

Now, I can't get the thought out of my head that the dang thing is staring back at me, my own little frankenstein--lol. It's almost halloween isn't it. lmao

Doesn't take much to entertain me does it. ;-)

  7. I would call this one "Stairway to Heaven." The stairs look like they have wings leading up and up and up. Beautiful work you do.

  9. Pretend I'm singin'...

I think we're alone now, there doesn't seem to be anyone around!
I think we're alone now, the beating of our hearts is the only sound... :o)

  10. Always did like that song. Ok, eyes closed pretending . . . oooohhhh, nice image. :-)

    Sing it k:

    Children behave
That’s what they say when we’re together
    And watch how you play
    They don’t understand
    And so we’re

    Chorus:
Running just as fast as we can
Holdin’ on to one another’s hand
Tryin’ to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
    And then you say

    I think we’re alone now
There doesn’t seem to be anyone around
    I think we’re alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

    Look at the way
We gotta hide what we’re doin’
    ’cause what would they say
    If they ever knew
    And so we’re

    Repeat chorus

    I think we’re alone now
There doesn’t seem to be anyone around
    I think we’re alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

  12. I didn't run away! Just went to get my hairbrush, so I could use it as a mic. :o)

Plus, I'm working on a mid-term paper. Or trying to, anyway. Pretending to, really. :o)

  13. Phhhheee . . . I thought you were getting the hairbrush for something else. *Big Sigh* lol

  14. Rest assured, hairbrushes are only for brushing hair and singing.

  23. Oooooo....I love the colours in this one, especially the browns and golden ones. I have a crush on any combination that reminds me of copper/gold/rusty....dunno why, but it's always been that way.
    I'm a frigging colour junky :p
