  2. About three years ago my grandfather, the one Papa most reflects, passed away. He lived in Louisiana and I lived in Tennessee. I got a call the evening before saying the time had come and that he would probably not make it through the night. I sat in my study and played Now Comes the Night over and over again and I wondered why he was there I was here and if he knew I wanted to be by his side, if he knew I abhorred not being by his bedside in those final hours. Zeke has honored my own Papa and in his honor I dedicate this chapter.

    I will google that track and try to listen to it.

    It's amazing how significant music is at such times - Life's a Gas - was playing when I heard my own mother had died.
