  1. Absolutely fabulous!! He's gorgeous, is what he is. Between him and Rog (and well, Zeke and Von too), I would feel like I was at Wimbledon, I wouldn't know which way to look. :-) In short, John looks like someone one would want to know, those laughter lines are deep, this wonderful expression is something he wears often, bless him, and somehow, though he is looking down and his eyes are shaded by lashes (excellent lashes btw:), that laughter is beamed from his eyes too. It's fan*tastic. Really, I'm in awe over again, at how very, very good you are at this.

  2. Sunshine, you are making me turn several shades of red to match John's shirt. :-)

Thank you my dear Sweetest for those very endearing words. I say it all the time, but I mean it every time too, Thank You for the kindness you show me.

  6. Oh, my comment didn't work :( Horrible connection.

Anyway, this is fantastic. So expressive, I think I love this Johnny Disco ;) And those lashes!

Now I need to go and guess at Caitlin...

  8. Tree, I think you've found your calling hon. Magnificent work.
Johnny Disco looks a bit like George Clooney, if you don't mind my saying. LOL
I just love the colors your using. You've come so far in such a short time.
My favorites are Papa (he looks familiar too) and Serenity in Solitude. A great deal of emotion conveyed by each. I think I have one from my childhood that mirrors Serenity.
Anyway, I am amazed and overjoyed by your skills. Just beautiful work!
    Hugs and love to you.

  9. Chicky, I love that smile too. I would almost say it is warm and enticing. So the question is, would you Disco? :-D

  10. Evenin' Bean, I got the lashes to work because I drew them rather than paint them. Where there's a will, there's a way. :-D

Thanks for those very kind words. Keep guessing at Caitlin. Willing to give a hint or two if you so desire. :-)

  11. Hey Keshi, my dear southern angel. GC was the model for Disco so it pleases me to no end that you recognized the resemblance. :-)

  12. Oh Aggie, you know every time you call me "Hon" I just turn to butter. Do it again, do it again. :-D

Seeing you commenting makes me smile like Disco. Such heartwarming sentiments and so powerful coming from one like yourself who actually knows how to sketch and draw. I think you've got me floating like a balloon on a child's fifth birthday.

As for the model, my people have been in touch with George's people but we've gotten no word yet on whether he is interested in playing the part of Disco in the movie. Rog was not happy since he thought GC would have been perfect to play him, which just tells me Rog can be a bit delusional at times. :-D

Thanks my dear sweet sexy boot with laces wearing woman for those incredibly generous comments. :-)

  13. Great job on the commentary! :-)

  14. Meg, I'll see what I can do. Problem is, you'd have to deal with Cait and she looks rather intimidating. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  15. Meg, just print him out and stand them up on your bedside table, that's what I'm going to do, put him right next to Rog. ;-D

  16. Okay, you need a second income? You would be an excellent court artist, police sketch artist, or ? You are actually pretty good. You've got all the ladies around here in a shivery sweat with your pencil.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Terry, if only I had known what a pencil could do I think my whole life would have taken a different tack many years ago. :-D

As always, me and Jose thank you very, very much. :-)

  18. Meg, I may need you to come over and demonstrate just exactly what you have in mind for Rog and Disco. For editorial control of course. :-)

  19. Betty, how do you explain to M who all these other men are? :-D

    ReplyDelete
  20. Terry :-D

I think, I confused M a while back, and she just plain stopped listening. :-)

Sweet dreams, Gangsta muffin, when you get that far, x

  24. Anon, you may indeed say so. :-D

Am glad you are enjoying the visual side of the story. I'm a visual learner and "think" the world in images. Your kind words are much appreciated.

Sophia, hadn't thought of her, good guess, but not the one. Here are two clues. First name has two vowels and she has blond hair.

  25. Ooooh, poppy-doll girl, you do flatter me. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  26. I love his smile, I can almost hear him laugh. I'm really enjoying these. He is sexy too. ;-)

  27. Karen, I'll let Disco know how you feel. :-D

Hope and trust you and your dad are doing okay.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I think the next character in the story should be named Jack ;-) *snicker*

Dad is doing a little better each day, not by leaps and bounds but it's baby steps and we're grateful for each one. I'm tired but doing OK :-)

    *HUGS* to you and Jack!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Karen, thanks for the update. Still keeping you and your dad in my thoughts and prayers. Jack says his hands are full just with you. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  30. *snortle* *blush* Yes, I'm sure his hands are very full...

    ReplyDelete
  31. P.S. My mind was so occupied with thoughts of Jack that I forgot to thank you for your thoughts and prayers; you're the best. *HUGS*

    ReplyDelete
  32. Karen, you are more than welcome. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes please for the hints :) I wanted to see if I could get it without them but my brain hasn't suggested anything new all day. I think the biggest problem is finding someone quite that pretty!

  34. Here you go Bean:

Her first name has two vowels. She has blond hair. Her husband's first name has five letters, which corresponds to either her first or last name. She was born in New York City in the mid 60s.

    Good Luck. :-)

  35. Afternoon my lovely. Missing you tons! Only on for a few mins, so just a quick hello for now. More tomorrow. :-)XO

  36. So all is quiet just because your favorite fan is out of town? So, the rest of us have to just suffer? Hmmmfffff

    ReplyDelete
  37. Travel safe my dear Sunshine. Been cloudy around here far too long. :-D

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ter, if I had known you would be around on the weekend I would have rearranged my schedule to accommodate your needs. I do hate to see a woman suffer. :-D

  39. Everyone else is still asleep. :-)

Thank you, Poppet, will do. Driving back today, over the two bridges that link the three main parts of Denmark. One side of the country to the other takes about 4 hours (depending on the weather, very windy today, so those bridges will have to be taken very slowly:), so not very far at all. Small country. :-)

    Have a wonderful morning, x

    ReplyDelete
  40. Welcome back my dear Sunshine. The blogosphere is just not the same without you. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Yay - A's back. Now we can all carry on :-)

    ReplyDelete
  42. Sweet dreams, dear poppet, when you get that far. :-)

  43. How very handsome! He kinda looks like George Clooney to me, particularly a certain black and white George Clooney pic I've got as my pc's wallpaper. YUM! :)

(sorry it's taken me so long to get to these, been having issues)

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh my God! Tree these portrais are wonderful! you need to start a separate page and call it the portrait gallery. Please do. Please do!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Just popping in to say hello, hon. ;) Happy Monday to you.
    As always, thanks for 10pm.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Aggie, my dear sweet sexy woman, you can pop in here anytime, especially if you are going to call me "hon." Just something about that word that makes me tingle all over. :-D

Happy Monday to you too. :-)

  47. Morning Liz. Your comment is making me smile so big I'm having a hard time drinking my coffee. I do appreciate your kind words very, very much. Hugs to you on this Monday for sending a little joy my way. :-)

  48. Morning BBB. He looks like George Clooney, thankfully, since I used a photo of George as reference for this character. So glad you were able to drop by and I do appreciate your very sweet words with my coffee this morning. Take care BBB! :-)

  49. Y, I've missed you too. Hope all is right in your world. Good to see you posting again, and as usual your words are like honey on smooth skin, glistening in candlelight.

Thanks for the kind words on the sketches and paintings. Just been having fun. :-)

  50. Playground of Angels is another all time favourite and the Calfuray chapters were excellent. Second time around no less so. But I just wanted to tell you once again that the sketches and paintings on this page are marvellous. Was so very wonderful at the time to see those that we had come to know, though they were based on certain people the sketches and paintings moulded themselves around the characters to be one and the same. They became the character, or rather, in the sketches the characters were recognized. Visually this page is stunning, as they all are, there are just less words here.
