Thanks Sunshine. When I see this one, I see that walk we must all take into the unknown. The sun is shining bright, almost too bright because we don't really see, we just walk toward our fate. What lies for us at the end of the walkway is unknown, but walk toward the end we must. Thanks for the kind words sweetie.
Jenni, Wontar, Terry and Melly, thanks for the kind comments. Always a very pleasant thing to wake up to in the morning. Hope you guys have a great weekend.
Chicky, that sooooo reminds me of one of my fave Rob Thomas songs: "Now Comes the Night." I listened to that song more than 20 times straight the night my grandfather passed away. All I could think about listening to the lyrics was how important it would be to have loved ones around when it came time to take that walk. Thanks for reminding me of such a significant night in my life.
Yes Tree it does seem to lead to the unknown and perhaps to something mystical. It gives me the strange sensation that my fate is already out there, like it already happened in some sense, and I am just going to see what it is.
Mark, sometimes I have that same sense. At other times I just feel like a robot, programmed to see and act in certain ways and I feel trapped to behave outside of that programming. Good to see you stopping by again.
Picture perfect, truly.
ReplyDeleteWhat comes to mind is 'WOW!'
Just lovely, has to be somewhere in Greece and water to dive into at the end.
Whiplash fractal.
not entirely coherent, but there you go :-)

Another great graphic. It hints at so many possibilities.
ReplyDeleteGreat textures and lighting! I can almost feel that stone. Excellent stuff!
ReplyDeleteThis one reminds me of some of those computer games with fabulous graphics. Not bad for such late night work :-)
ReplyDeleteYou know what this reminds me of? An Escher (sp?) drawing, he has a few with those arches.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.

ReplyDeleteMorning Trace. Day one of three. Have some fun darlin'. We'll grade papers later. :-)
ReplyDeleteI feel right now I am ready to take that walk. Take me a while to walk it, but I'm ready to find out where it leads. Great work.
ReplyDeleteIt's the kind of walk you'd want to tale with someone beside you.
ReplyDeleteDJB, I take that walk everyday but I never quite get to the end. One day will be the last and I'll join my father in the great unknown. Mario too. :-)

ReplyDeleteThis is just like a pull-screen from those medivial games! I half-expected someone in medivial costume would glide across the screen.

ReplyDeleteSaffron, I take that as the highest compliment since the artwork done with CGs these days is superb stuff. Thanks sweetie. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm right beside you - that's so beautiful and tranquil.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a fab weekend. *HUGS* to you and Jack!
It's been a good weekend Karen. Jack and I are doing our best to keep warm. :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like some churches in Italy. Some of them even have floors like that.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing and incredible picture! To me, it's filled with hope and anticipation of a future waiting at the end of that corridor...
ReplyDeleteThanks Justin. I just love the sense of silence I see in this picture. Peace and silence moving toward the light. Everything just as it should be.
