First significant objects I've created myself for Vue. Thanks to Kel for the inspiration to create and name them. Check out her site (Kelly Bell) on my sidebar for the most gorgeous picture of these magnificent birds.
Thanks Jack. The Kestrels were my first 3D modelling attempt. I used Silo to do the modelling. Once created, I saved them as obj files and imported them into Vue.
Oooh, that's right. The Tube has the day off. Sweet. Meet me half way for an afternoon movie. Pick something that's been out for awhile. I'd perfer an empty theatre. :-)
Another busy day Trace. Been on the phone most of today and it won't end till around 10pm tonight. I think I've used up about all my words for today. :-)
Hullo luv. I have returned. (and apparently with a British accent. Where did that come from?)
Boy have you been a busy boy! All this color and movement is a touch overwhelming all at once. I'm going to have to sit here and stare at them one at a time. :)
Missed you awfully terribly. Do hope all is well with you.
Welcome home Aggie. So glad to see the love of my blogging life is safe and sound. Thanks for the kind words my sweet sexy, really sexy, really wickedly sexy woman. :-)
Oh my Goodness! Here I was thinking about trash- canning the whole blog thing... feeling like I was just spewing my thoughts into an empty void, and then I see this.
Thanks Sunshine. I'm going in about an hour to have a one-hour pedicure if you can believe that. I'm not sure pedicure is the right word so I'll let you know what they call it later. I am soooo looking forward to a little digit manipulation. :-)
Kel, I read everything you post. I think your blog is unique and offers me a view into a world I would otherwise never see. Your insights and wisdom and philosophies are refreshing and wonderful to read, and I don't see that on many blogs.
I hope you liked my Kestrels. I was inspired to do them after I saw your post. :-)
Thanks for the incredibly kind comments Kel. Just when I feel I'm getting stale with my images, I read a comment like yours and it energizes me all over again. Much appreciated my friend.
For those that like this image, I have an alternative version posted on Trebuchet. Look for the link on my blogroll. Thanks to all for so many very heartfelt and appreciated comments. :-)
Thanks DJB. Perspective doesn't come easily for me. I think this is the biggest difference between these 3D images and fractals. 3D demands perspective for interest.
