Stargazer, this image was done with Xenodreams software. Once the image is created, you take it to their lighting arena where the 3D effect is created. Xenodreams is my new favorite toy. Most of their images, not all, but most are not fractals since the Chaos method is used to render them. Xenodreams was my xmas gift from the misses. Smart woman--althought I did say, hon, this is what I want, and she said, "Okay, download it." lol
Wontar and Stargazer, thanks for the many times you guys stop by and leave such wonderful comments for me to find. Stargazer, I've seen where a lot of folks create an image with xenodreams and then take it to Bryce to build a background for it. I don't have Bryce so any background stuff happens in Photoshop for me. Wontar, I cannot be held responsibe for the licking of monitors. Lick at your own risk.
Trace, I hope your post means you and mom have arrived safely home. You must be exhausted after no sleep last night and travelling all day today. But hey, we all expect you to be around tonight with bells on (other clothing optional) so go take a quick nap sistah and get rrrrreeeeeddddddyyyyy to blog in the New Year. LOL
Thanks Jamie. Are you getting a little sexy on us for the new year or is that just my overactive imagination reading more into that pic of you on the upper left side of your blog. :-)
DJB, LMAO, keep in mind that was all I got for xmas. She didn't have to fight traffic, worry about what to get, or even wrap a present. I think that made her very happy and me too. :-)
Thanks for your kind words. I lift my oil can to say thanks with a toast to peace and joy in the new year.
LOL after some drama this AM we did make it home safe and sound :0)
I will be there with my bells :0)
I've got a bottle of wine chillin, I have ordered some dinner and I am good to go LOL (not guaranteeing that silliness will not ensue as we hit that 36 hr+ up mark but hey, if I can't be sleep deprived silly around y'all, then who can I be silly around LOL)
hope you are having a great ride today sweetheart :0)
Welcome back to earth darlin' Prepare your self for PBSD (post beach stress disorder). It's most intense in the immeadiate days post beach time. I'm here to support you hon and help you get over the hump. You can count of me darlin' :-D
Amen to that Christa. 2005 was the most challenging year I've encountered in my 42 young years. A repeat performance I would not want to wish upon anyone. A toast to better times my dear. Yes, that sounds good. A toast to better times.
Just trying to be of service. I experienced the same thing in August. Without help it can be brutal. However, if you remove most of your clothes I think that would help, maybe not you, but it would help me stay motivated to help you. LMAO
Wow!! That is one happy looking image! I still haven't done anything since I downloaded xenodream (other than Apophysis) but this makes me want to give at shot. Funny how I wanted xenodream for so long but now that I have it I haven't done a darn thing with it.
Oliviah, you are going to love XenoDream. For sure, go through the tutorials. Once you get the hang of it, you can create stuff like this that the other programs just can't touch. I've done some really pretty stuff I haven't posted because it doesn't fit the story. I can't wait to see what you do with this program.
I love this picture :) It looks like a cross between a mint candy and a clown's face. Very inspiring. Hope that you have a wonderful new year. Am looking forward to more of your great graphics and can't wait for the next installment of the story.
Happy New Year Trée and Jack! The image is really cool, it reminds me of that old ribbon Christmas candy, but I also like the happy clown face I see. Thank you for your bloggy friendship and for making my day better for stopping by.
Morning Sunshine. Still on my first cup of snizzle so ask me again in just a bit. But Linny's got a new computer and is back in business. That's damn good news. :-)
Karen, I too have enjoyed getting to know you. I do appreciate you stopping by and I love the attitude you have had toward life this year. Wednesdays are always interesting too.
Chicky, Mark and Dawn, so good to see you guys stop by. May the new year bring each of you all you ever wanted and more. Chicky, keep those photos coming. Mark, your fresh and honest insight is always a welcomed interlude in my day. Dawn, I think your site has the most interesting variety of stuff and tests and quizes. Keep them coming. :-)
Jenni, it is so nice to hear your interest in the story. Sometimes I wonder how many actually read the post and follow the story and how many just take a quick look at the images and move on. I'm very flattered you are into the story and that motivates me to keep it going.
I'm looking forward to a great 2006, in part because I've already determined that's how it's going to be. Just like this story, I'm going to write my own wonderful future just the way I want it, which is to say, to ride the wave of whatever comes my way with love and compassion. Take care sweetie. :-)
Morning Sweet Sunshine of my life. Still up in the middle of an incredible render, just gorgeous. Now I just need to figure out how the story could fit around this image--lol.
Is today a holiday for you guys like it is here in the states?
TOB, I've been loving the pics you put up with all the snow. We get so little snow here I'm always envious of how much you guys get, but I do understand it gets real old fast. Send it our way, we'd love to take a little off your hands. :-)
Even so, you must have a particularly ticklish spot! I'll just have to find it, draw forth some uninhibited giggling. An uninhibited giggle a day keeps boredom away, you know.
Not a problem. I'll start from one end and work my way to the other, be bound to stumble upon it at some point. :-) Once I do, we'll see how great that resistance really is.
...and a Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteThanks stargazer. Be safe. Tucson can be a wild place. :-)
ReplyDeleteIs that made of porcelain?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
Happy New Year, again, all the very best for the year ahead, x
Trée, do you use another program to get the 'smooth' effect on your fractals?
ReplyDeleteStargazer, this image was done with Xenodreams software. Once the image is created, you take it to their lighting arena where the 3D effect is created. Xenodreams is my new favorite toy. Smart woman--althought I did say, hon, this is what I want, and she said, "Okay, download it." lol
ReplyDeleteSunshine, I'll need to ask Kyra or Zeke what this one is made of. Does look like porcelain. :-)
ReplyDeleteReminds me of ribbon candy. Must...resist...urge...to lick the screen. Happy New Year Trée!
ReplyDeleteThanks Trée, duh...I think you did mention it in a prior post. I just forgot. Sorry about that.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to check it out. I may try to incorporate it with the Bryce program (when I figure it out) LOL
Beautiful frac Trée, hope you have a wonderful New Year
ReplyDelete(((((Trée))))
Happy New Year!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the image, very snazzy!
What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of Hopi Kachina.
Happy New Year, Tree, you wild wonderful man!
Looks like a Christmas clown. Impressive. Happy New Year's to you and yours as well, Tree and may your fractals remain bright. ;)
ReplyDeleteI wish my Wife would say, "DOWNLOAD IT"!! Haha, but that is just another toy.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family.
Oh, fantastic quality workmanship there.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Jamie.
George, Zing Tao Baby! I kinda like saying that better than Happy New Year. George, see what you've done to me. :-D
ReplyDeleteJack, as always thanks for the kind words. Stay safe.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year my friend.

ReplyDeleteMay it be better than the one that just past. 16 minutes left of 2005 here in England right now.
Amen to that Christa. 2005 was the most challenging year I've encountered in my 42 young years. A repeat performance I would not want to wish upon anyone. A toast to better times my dear. Yes, that sounds good. A toast to better times.
ReplyDeletePBSD (post beach stress disorder)
ReplyDeleteis that what that is :0), glad to know you are here to get me through it LOL
Just trying to be of service. I experienced the same thing in August. Without help it can be brutal. However, if you remove most of your clothes I think that would help, maybe not you, but it would help me stay motivated to help you. LMAO
ReplyDeleteWell, I can tell you that 2006 looks mighty good - this is going to be a great year!
ReplyDeleteWait up, I'm about seven hours behind. :-)
ReplyDeleteROFL well you seem to be the expert on this disorder so I will just place myself in your very capable hands for the therapy needed :0)
ReplyDeletegot to wait 6 more here LOL
ReplyDeleteFirst step is to trust everything I say without question.
ReplyDeletedon't see a problem there LOL :0)

ReplyDeleteMuch Love to you and yours.
Happy New Year Tree!
ReplyDeleteOooohhh... what a happy image! Reminds me of a clown!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Tree, from down under! :)
Happy New Year Trée and Jack! The image is really cool, it reminds me of that old ribbon Christmas candy, but I also like the happy clown face I see. Thank you for your bloggy friendship and for making my day better for stopping by.
ReplyDeletegood morning my sweet, hope you have a wonderful New Years Day!
ReplyDelete(hugs)
Morning Sweetie.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2006 - Hope you got off to a good start. Have a great day!
:-)
Happy New Year Trée! Sorry I have been elusive but now have a new computer that doesn't kick me off every time I visit your sight. :0)
ReplyDeleteLinny, baby, so good to see you here again! Now this is the way to get my year kicked off. Woohooooo. Now, did you brush your teeth? :-D
ReplyDeleteMorning Sunshine. Still on my first cup of snizzle so ask me again in just a bit. But Linny's got a new computer and is back in business. That's damn good news. :-)
ReplyDeleteTrace, did you leave the door unlocked and the snacks out like I asked? I'm not driving all the way to sit in my car waiting for you to get home.
ReplyDeleteMorning dear. Go have fun with the family. I'll see if I can have a little sumthin for ya when you get back. :-)
Karen, I too have enjoyed getting to know you. I do appreciate you stopping by and I love the attitude you have had toward life this year. Wednesdays are always interesting too.

Wednesdays are hump days, so why wouldn't they be intersting? I have to live vicarously through others, you know, until I find Mr. Right.
ReplyDeleteAs for my attitude, it helps visiting places like yours with positive vibes to keep it going.
Hugs & kisses to you (and Jack) LOL
Karen, I'll do my best to keep those positive vibes moving forward into 2006. :-)
ReplyDelete:0) key is under the mat, fridge and pantry are stocked with goodies, per your requests LOL
ReplyDeletehave a great day sweetheart (hugs)
:0)
Lol.. I love the pic Tree...! Happy New Year Darlin'... ;-)
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! Heres to a MUCH better 2006!

Good to see you Alma. Thanks so much for recommending Audioblogger--I've loved it. Hugs and kisses my dear. And Happy New Year too!
ReplyDeleteHey Trace. Did you have a good day?
ReplyDeleteI did sweetie, thanks for asking :0)
ReplyDeletehow are you today darlin?
Trée -- Happy New Year, and thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteGreat image -- reminds me of a Gobstopper (like from the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), holiday style.
Hope you've had a wonderful New Year's day.
ReplyDeleteSweetest dreams, x
Morning Sweet Sunshine of my life. Still up in the middle of an incredible render, just gorgeous. Now I just need to figure out how the story could fit around this image--lol.

ReplyDeleteHiya Trace. Today was interesting to say the least. Story for another day and another time. With mercy the clock strikes midnight in another 55. lol
ReplyDeleteToday was interesting to say the least. Story for another day and another time
ReplyDeletealways here to listen, 45 minutes and tomorrow is a new day
:0)
I refuse to give one more minute of my time to the past. That thief has enough of my life and I gave at the office LMAO.
ReplyDeleteI'm interested in movement, as long as that movement is forward, which is where my eyes are firmly set.
stellar! (hugs)
ReplyDeleteOfficially a holiday, yes, Tuesday too in most places.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the continuance and to seeing that fractal.
It's the Zing Tao way. Zeke has been sharing a few secrets to help me with the story. lol
ReplyDeleteWith all that dancing sweetie, are you in need of a good foot massage?
ReplyDeleteSure that'd be nice, just don't tickle.
ReplyDeletePS There's an old silly rhyme, 1st the worst, 2nd the best - hope you have a better day tomorrow. :-)
No worries. I've perfected my thumb pressure on the arch. With a little of my special almond cream, I expect purring within minutes. :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds thoroughly delightful. :-)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'll trust you not to tickle.
Money back if I do. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou mean, I'd have to pay you?! lol, thought it was a free service among friends :-)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking barter. Payment in kind is always nice. :-)
ReplyDeleteI on the other hand cannot promise, I won't be tempted to tickle a little.
ReplyDeleteAccepting of those terms?
Sure. But I must warn you, it takes a lot to tickle me. I have great powers of resistence.
ReplyDeleteEven so, you must have a particularly ticklish spot! I'll just have to find it, draw forth some uninhibited giggling. An uninhibited giggle a day keeps boredom away, you know.
ReplyDeleteWell, there is one spot. But you are going to have to find it on your own. :-)
ReplyDeleteNot a problem. I'll start from one end and work my way to the other, be bound to stumble upon it at some point. :-)
ReplyDeleteOnce I do, we'll see how great that resistance really is.
How's the frac coming along?
